Favorite Sport (and why): "My favorite sport would have to be basketball. The atmosphere of the games, my teammates, and coaches make this game an amazing experience every day. I love how this sport brings everyone that is part of our community together and I am beyond excited that I have my senior year ahead of me. In the fall I will be part of Winona State University’s Women’s Basketball Team and I am happy to say that I have another four years ahead of me."

Best Part of High School Sports (and why): "The best part of high school sports is the friends and memories you make along the way. I think that having good relationships with your teammates is one of the biggest things to making a team successful. The experiences that I have had throughout my years have made me more prepared for what is to come."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: "My favorite advice is from my basketball coach Tim Goldschmidt, 'Be patient your time will come'."

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "The most memorable moment for me is when my basketball team made it to state last year. It was an experience I will never forget and I am so grateful that I had that opportunity."

Most Difficult Part of Playing Three Sports: "The most difficult part of being a three-sport athlete is that in between seasons you do not get much of a break in between sports, especially from basketball to track."

Favorite Opponent (and why): "My favorite opponent is Marinette. We have only played them in a scrimmage this past summer. This year we have a regular season game against them which is exciting. Marinette has a very strong defense and press so I like the challenge of having to break that."

Favorite Professional Team: Indiana Fever

Favorite Professional Athlete: Laken James (Oconto grad)

Favorite College Team: Virginia Tech

Cumulative GPA: 3.8

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against (and why): "Lauren Littleton and Lily Palubicki from Crandon were a very hard duo to play against. They were a good combination of perimeter shooters and good paint players which gave me a defensive challenge in the post."

Most Admired High School Teammate (and why): "My most admired high school was Natalie McNurlen who is now one of our assistant coaches for Lena. I looked up to her because she was a hard worker and very smart with the game. I was able to play with Natalie for two seasons before she graduated which was a very awesome experience."

College Plans:  "My college plan is to attend Winona State University. I will be majoring in elementary education and minoring in coaching. After my four years there I will earn my master's in administration."
