Not only will that game get featured on WisSports.net, but our WSN staff will make it our destination that week, with updates, photos, videos, and stories from the big game.

And of course, no trip to a big game in Wisconsin would be complete without a stop or two at Kwik Trip and a chocolate milk!!

Baldwin-Woodville is playing in the state semi-finals for a second consecutive year, as the Blackhawks fell to eventual champion Lodi at this level last season.

"After being smashed by Mount Horeb/Barneveld Week 1, we have put together a lot of good football games," said head coach Dan Keefer, who is in his second go-around as the team's coach. "I am very proud of these guys. They have risen to every challenge and are continuing to get better."

The champions of the Middle Border Conference, the Baldwin-Woodville's only loss came in a non-conference game way back in Week 1, when they fell at Mount Horeb/Barneveld. Baldwin-Woodville is coming off an impressive win over a previously undefeated Freedom team in the sectional championship, as Gavin Sell went wild once again, helped by a big game from Taden Holldorf.

"After spotting Freedom 14 points last week we reeled off seven straight possessions that ended in the end zone," Keefer added. "We played in the State Semifinal last year losing to Lodi and I think that experience is helpful moving forward."

This will be a great matchup of dynamic, dual-threat quarterbacks, as Winneconne will counter Gavin Sell's talents with junior quarterback Brody Schaffer, the Bay Conference Offensive Player of the Year who has more than 1500 yards both passing and rushing. Both Schaffer and Sell played receiver last year, extremely well, and have transitioned to the quarterback spot this season.

Winneconne is undefeated, making just its second state semi-finals appearance, the only other coming in 2013 when the Wolves went on an improbable run to claim the Division 4 state title.

"I think the team that tackles better will win this game," Keefer explained. "Brody Schaffer is scary fast and very decisive as a runner and containing him will be a difficult task."

"We are excited to compete against a very good Winneconne team!"
