Antoniewski captured gold in her two individual events this past Saturday at the WIAA Division 1 State Girls Swim and Dive Meet. The junior swimmer won the 200-yard freestyle for the third straight year, winning with a time of 1:48.38. Antoniewski also took home gold in the 500-yard freestyle for the third straight season. She won the race with a time of 4:50.81. Antoniewski also competed on the 200-yard freestyle relay and 400-yard freestyle relay teams that did not medal.
Dickinson was a big reason why the Whitefish Bay girls swim team took home a Division 2 state team title. The freshman swimmer won two individual medals, two relay medals, and set a state meet record. Dickinson won the 50-yard freestyle swim with a time of 23.60 seconds. She then took home gold in the 100-yard backstroke, winning the swim in a state meet record time of 53.28 seconds. Dickinson anchored the 400-yard freestyle relay that won with a time of 3:29.66 and was the first leg in the 200-yard medley relay team that won with a time of 1:46.75.
Flowers also took home two gold medals this past weekend in the WIAA Division 1 State Girls Swim and Dive Meet. The senior took home gold in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing with a time of 22.59 seconds, the fourth fastest in state meet history. Flowers also won the 100-yard freestyle swim, finishing in a time of 49.34 seconds, which was also the fourth fastest time in state meet history. She competed on the 200-yard medley relay team that finished 18th.
Francis took home four medals this past weekend at the WIAA State Girls Swim and Dive Meet. Swimming on both the 200-yard medley relay and 400-yard freestyle relay team, she was the first leg for both runner-up times. In the 200-yard medley relay, the team finished with a time of 1:47.16, less than half a second behind first place while the runner-up 400-yard freestyle relay finished with a time of 3:35.16. The sophomore swimmer also too home a silver medal in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing with a time of 55.39. Lastly, Francis took home gold in the 200-yard individual medley for the second straight season, winning with a time of 2:05.34. Rhinelander took home a second place finish as a team in Division 2.
Saxman won a pair of events and competed in two other relays this past weekend with the Germantown swim and dive team. She first took home gold in the 200-yard individual medley, winning the race with a time of 2:01.54. The senior swimmer also won the 100-yard butterfly swim in a time of 53.34, which was the sixth fastest time in state meet history. Saxman was the first leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay team that got a silver medal after finishing in a time of 1:34.89, which was less than a second behind the first place finisher. She also swam on the 200-yard medley relay that finished fourth. Germantown finished sixth overall as a team.
