Notre Dame (28-2 overall) captured the FRCC championship with a perfect 18-0 record. The Tritons finished as the Division 2 state runner-up, dropping a 60-52 contest against Pewaukee in the state championship game. Notre Dame’s other loss was also to Pewaukee by the same score, in the season opener. De Pere (19-7) finished second, going 16-2, followed by Ashwaubenon (13-12) and Green Bay Southwest (17-10) which both went 11-7 in the league. Green Bay Southwest reached a D2 sectional semifinal, losing to league foe Notre Dame, 93-17. The middle of the standings went Manitowoc Lincoln (13-12, 10-8), Pulaski (13-14, 9-9), and Bay Port (7-18, 7-11). Green Bay Preble (7-18, 5-13), Sheboygan South (5-21, 3-15), and Sheboygan South (2-22, 0-18) closed out the FRCC standings.

Aspen Abel, jr., Notre Dame – Abel, a 5-11 guard, will move into an expanded role for the Tritons after providing depth last season for the Division 2 state runner-up Tritons.
Egan Bierowski, sr., De Pere – Bierowski, a 5-8 guard, will take on a leading role this season for the Redbirds. The NCAA Division III UW-Stevens Point recruit tallied 5.8 points per game last season.
Sarah Bolchen, jr., Manitowoc Lincoln – Bolchen, a 5-3 point guard, received second-team all-FRCC as a sophomore, averaging 9.4 points, 3.5 assists, and 3.0 steals per game for the Ships.
Jaden Ciesielczk, sr., De Pere – Ciesielczk, a 5-8 guard, will take on a more prominent role this season after averaging 6.6 points per game last season for the Redbirds.
Payton Dudra, jr., Bay Port – Dudra, a 5-7 point guard, tallied 8.2 points, and 2.0 assists per contest as a sophomore for the Pirates. She also connected on 33 three-pointers.
Gianna Guarascio, sr., Ashwaubenon – Guarascio, a 5-9 guard, was voted second-team all-FRCC last season, averaging 13.8 points per game for the Jaguars.
Melia Lemorande, jr., Bay Port – Lemorande, a 6-1 wing/forward, returns after missing last season with an ACL injury. The NCAA Division I prospect averaged 9.2 points per game as a freshman.
Peyton Musial, sr., Notre Dame – Musial, a 6-0 guard, will take on a leading role for the Tritons. The NCAA Division I UAB recruit averaged 12.9 points, 2.9 assists, and 1.8 steals per game last season for the Tritons (D2 state runner-up) en route to being named second-team all-FRCC and honorable mention WBCA all-state.
Jada Raeder, sr., Green Bay Preble – Raeder, a 6-0 forward, will take on a featured role for the Hornets. She averaged 10.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game last season.
Olivia Sprangers, jr., Pulaski – Sprangers, a 5-7 guard, tallied 11 points per game last season for the Red Raiders.
Emma Szarowicz, sr., Green Bay Southwest – Szarowicz, a 6-0 forward, will take on a leading role after averaging 8.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks per contest last season for the Trojans.
Kaia Waldrop, jr., Notre Dame – Waldrop, a 6-0 forward, will take on a more prominent role this season. The NCAA Division II Grand Valley State recruit tallied 12.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.7 steals per game, earning second-team all-conference.
Olivia Williams, soph., Bay Port – Williams, a 5-8 wing, contributed 8.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game in her debut season for the Pirates.
2024-25 Team Previews
1) Notre Dame enters the year with a 69-game FRCC winning streak which dates back to the 2019-20 season. The Tritons return seven letter-winners, including two starters from last year's team which finished as the Division 2 state runner-up. Sara Rohde, 14th year as head coach, enters the year with a 287-65 record, guiding the Tritons to five WIAA State titles. She is one of four coaches in girls’ basketball state history to win five WIAA state championships (Jeff Pustina, 9; Jim Myers, 6; Pam Kruse, 5). The Tritons will need to replace the trio of Gracie Grzesk (Wisconsin), Trista Fayta (Illinois State), and Sydney Whitehouse (D-II Northern Michigan) who helped Notre Dame to a 113-5 record with three state titles and are now playing college basketball. Peyton Musial, a UAB recruit, and Kaia Waldrop, a D-II Grand Valley State recruit, will take on leading roles this season. Aspen Abel and Morgan Gokey are among those who will be taking on expanded roles this season. Notre Dame was elevated to Division 1 this season in the first year of the Competitive Balance Plan taking effect. They open the season against Pewaukee, also elevated to D1 this season, on November 21. The Tritons also have notable non-conference games versus Hartford (Nov. 30 at Kettle Moraine Thanksgiving Classic), Hortonville (Dec. 28 at Kress Center), Kimberly (Feb. 13), and Arrowhead (Feb. 20). Notre Dame was placed in Sectional 2, which includes Pewaukee, Hartford, and Kimberly, among others.

2) Bay Port is poised to make a jump in the FRCC standings after going 7-11 in the league and 7-18 overall last season. Second-year head coach Adam Lemorande told WisSports.net that they will have some athletic, high-energy girls this year but are young and inexperienced. Eight letter-winners are back, with Payton Dudra and Olivia Williams returning as starters. The Pirates will get a boost with the return of Melia Lemorande (D-I prospect) who missed last season with an ACL injury. Bay Port opens league play at Manitowoc Lincoln on December 6. The Pirates’ first meeting against Notre Dame isn’t until January 7.

3) De Pere brings back two starters from last year’s team which finished second (16-2) in the FRCC and 19-7 overall. Jeremy Boileau, ninth year as head coach, has a 146-58 record with two trips to the WIAA State Tournament, including guiding the Redbirds to a Division 1 state runner-up finish in 2017. Coach Boileau told WisSports.net that team speed/quickness and defense are strengths. “Another strength is having several players that can score and as a team, we can score in different ways to the rim and perimeter shooting.” Coach Boileau noted that weaknesses are rebounding and limiting turnovers. Returning starters Egan Bierowski and Jaden Ciesielczyk will take on leading roles this season for the Redbirds. Other notable returnees include Abby Tassoul and Aubree Fischer who are among those who will take on larger roles this season. De Pere opens FRCC play at home against Notre Dame on December 6.

4) Ashwaubenon returns all five starters from last year’s team which went 11-7 in the conference and 13-12 overall. Second-year head coach Mike Radue told WisSports.net that athleticism, quickness, length, and ability to stretch the floor with 3-point shooting are strengths. “Our size and length should create some match-up issues for defenses and give us an advantage around the rim and create space for our shooters.” Coach Radue noted that depth is a weakness with a smaller varsity roster. Gianna Guarascio, the team’s leading scorer last season, highlights the Jaguars’ squad. Bella Daul and Lauren Seeling are other top returnees. Ashwaubenon opens FRCC action at Green Bay Preble on December 6.

5) Pulaski returns several contributors from last year’s team which went 9-9 in the FRCC and 13-14 overall. Doug McElrone, in his fifth year at the helm, told WSN that they are a very quick team. He went on to say that they are going to get up and down the court and have a solid defense that should create many turnovers. Olivia Sprangers, the team’s top scorer last season, heads up the group of returning players for the Red Raiders.

9) Green Bay Southwest will be in rebuilding mode this season. The Fighting Trojans will need to replace the majority of their scoring from last year’s team which finished 11-7 in the FRCC and 17-10 overall. They also had a change at the top, Ronald Jackson was hired as the team’s new head coach. Emma Szarowicz, third on the team in scoring last season, will take a leading role for the Trojans.

Alayna Lloyd, the team’s leader in points, assists, and steals last season, highlights the Redwings’ returning group.
