Jensen had quite the junior debut for the Kaukauna boys basketball team, recording a double-double and making a game-winner against a conference rival. Kaukauna squared off with Oshkosh North in an FVA conference tilt between two of the top teams in Division 1. Down most of the game, Kaukauna had the ball on the baseline with under two seconds left and down one point. Jensen set a ghost screen and slipped to the hoop for a lob where he hauled it in and put it off the glass and in to secure an 81-80 win for the Ghosts. Jensen finished with 24 points and 11 rebounds while shooting 9 of 15 from the field.
Manchester is one of the top junior boys hoopers in the state and was great this past week, leading the Vikings to a pair of wins. The 6-3 guard began his week with a team high 25 points in Mount Horeb's 75-56 win over Monroe. He then went off for a season high 37 points in a 63-52 victory over Baraboo. In that win, Manchester became Mount Horeb's all-time leading scorer. Just a junior, he's already amassed over 1,100 points in his career.
Ouimette had a week to remember last week for the Lakeland girls basketball team. Not only did the senior wing lead her team to a pair of wins, but she broke a record in the process. The UW-Green Bay commit started her week off with 27 points in a 45-42 victory over Mosinee. She then matched Medford's team point total in a 74-45 win for Lakeland. Ouimette poured in 45 points, knocking down five triples, and setting the school record for points in a game. On her career, Ouimette is sitting at 1,900 points just five games into her senior year.
