Week 1 WisSports.net Girls Basketball Coaches Poll

Division 1

Top-ranked Pewaukee extended its winning streak to 19 games on Saturday, defeating Brown Deer, 101-43. Kimberly, Homestead, Arrowhead, and Hartford round out the top five. De Pere joins the top this week; the Redbirds snapped Notre Dame's 69-game FRCC winning streak, winning 56-42 on Friday.  

Division 2

Wauwatosa East holds down the top ranking in Division 2. The Red Raiders (6-0) have Greater Metro contests against Brookfield East (Tuesday) and Germantown (Friday) this week. Edgewood and West De Pere are second and third, respectively, followed by Pius XI Catholic and Whitefish Bay in the top five. Rice Lake joins the rankings this week. 

Division 3

The top three spots of the Division 3 WSN Coaches Poll are the same as last week. Laconia leads the way, followed by Oostburg and Egerton, while Catholic Memorial and Kettle Moraine Lutheran round out the top five. Winneconne joins the top 10 this week. 

Division 4

Top-ranked The Prairie School moved to 4-0 on the season after cruising to an 87-15 win over Racine Lutheran on Friday. Cuba City remains No. 2, followed by Manitowoc Lutheran, Fall Creek, and St. Mary Catholic in the top five. Poynette is the lone newcomer to the top 10. 

Division 5

No. 1 ranked Assumption rolled past Phillips on Friday, pushing its record to 5-0 on the season. Albany/Monticello, winners of its last 13 games, is No. 2, followed by Lena, Sheboygan Lutheran, and Lourdes Academy in the top five of the D5 WSN Coaches Poll.
