Pewaukee, the top-ranked team in the Division 1 WSN Coaches Poll, extended its winning streak to 20 games on Friday, cruising to an 83-33 win over Greendale to move to 5-0. The Pirates' winning streak is the longest active in the state; they have also won their last 31 Woodland West contests.
Second-ranked Kimberly (5-0) is the last unbeaten team in FVA play after defeating Hortonville, 63-46, on Friday. Hartford moved up two spots to No. 3 this week after topping Homestead, 70-65 in overtime, in a North Shore contest on Friday. Arrowhead (6-1) and Homestead (5-1) round out the top five. De Pere moved up three spots to No. 6 after beating West De Pere (D2 #4 this week), 59-52, on Saturday.
Top-ranked Wauwatosa East (8-0) cruised to wins over Brookfield East (D1 #10 this week, 70-50) and Germantown (84-39) in Greater Metro action and is the last unbeaten team in league play.
Second-ranked Edgewood (4-1) rolled past Stoughton, 59-29, in its only game last week. Pius XI Catholic (6-1) moved up one spot to No. 3, followed by West De Pere (7-1) and Whitefish Bay (6-1) in the top five. Rice Lake (6-0) moved up two spots to No. 8 after beating Lakeland (#10 this week), 51-42, on Tuesday.
Laconia (5-1) continues to hold down the top spot in the Division 3 WSN Coaches Poll. The Spartans rolled past North Fond du Lac (77-13) and St. Mary's Springs (63-23) in Flyway contests last week.
No. 2 Oostburg (6-1) cruised to a 71-34 win over Ozaukee in its only game since last week's coaches poll came out. Third-ranked Edgerton (6-0) posted wins over Brodhead (71-48), Turner (51-34), and Cambridge (47-35) in the last week. No. 4 Catholic Memorial (5-1) defeated Elkhorn (57-46) in its only game last week. Kettle Moraine Lutheran (6-1), which rounds out the top five of the coaches poll, knocked off Muskego (D1 #7 this week), 63-44, on Saturday. Platteville (7-0) joins the rankings for the first time this season.
The Prairie School (7-0) remains in the top spot in the Division 4 WisSports.net Coaches Poll. Since last Tuesday, the Hawks earned victories against Martin Luther (69-25), Kenosha St. Joseph (72-39), and Dominican (47-32).
Second-ranked Cuba City (7-0) cruised to wins over Iowa-Grant (78-30) and Galena, Ill. (72-39) last week. No. 3 Manitowoc Lutheran's last two wins were against Howards Grove (62-47) and Sevastopol (73-60). St. Mary Catholic (7-1) and Neillsivlle (7-0) round out the top five of the WSN Coaches Poll.
Assumption, the top-ranked team in the D5 WSN Coaches Poll, rolled past Auburndale (59-22) and Chequamegon (75-19) in contests last week to move to 7-0 on the season.
No. 2 Albany/Monticello (7-0) remains unbeaten after posting wins against Iowa-Grant (78-27) and Barneveld (#8 this week, 50-37) last week. Lena, Lourdes Academy, and Sheboygan Lutheran round out the top five of the D5 coaches poll. Almond-Bancroft (5-1) joins the top 10 for the first time this season.
