Bonduel sophomore Carter Moesch has been selected as the Box Out Sports Athlete of the Week for the week of December 30 - January 5 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 4,999 total votes this week. Moesch topped all vote getters with 1,904 votes. La Crosse Central's Alahna Simpson finished in second with 1,852 votes.

Moesch had a career day for the undefeated Bonduel boys basketball team in the 88-61 win over Reedsville on Friday. The sophomore guard is one of five Bears to average double-figures in points this season and in the victory, he scored a new career high. Moesch was 12 of 17 from the field and had 33 points for the Bears. He was lights out from deep, going 8 of 11 from three-point range. Moesch fleshed out his performance with four rebounds, three assists, and three blocks.

Moesch scored five points in Bonduel's 69-49 win over Wittenberg-Birnamwood on Tuesday and the he and the Bears conclude their week on Friday at Amherst.
