Gavin Gores of Cumberland, Trent Grunewald, and Dooney Johnson of Milwaukee Juneau of Howards Grove are repeat selections on the 2025 Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Division 4 All-State team announced today, while Drew Daoust from Southern Door earns his third recognition, though first in D4.

Drew Daoust is one of the most prolific scorers in state history, averaging 32 points per game each of the past three seasons. He finished his career with 3,096 points, becoming just the second player in state history to reach the 3000-point mark as he is now in second place all-time.

Gores is one of the top post players in the state as a repeat WBCA All-State selection. He's among state leaders averaging 35 points per game as well as 14 rebounds per contest for the Beavers, who shared the league title. Gores, a Wyoming recruit, was named the Heart O'North Player of the Year.

Grunewald was the Big East-North Player of the Year for a second straight season after helping the Tigers to the league title once again. A four-year varsity player, Grunewald averaged 20.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game on the year, finishing his prep career with more than 1500 points.

Dooney Johnson is the latest in the line of elite college prospects coming out of Wisconsin, attracting interest and offers from around the country. The sophomore standout averaged 25.5 points and 8.2 rebounds per game this season.

Logan Becker of Aquinas is just a junior but already has more than 1000 career points, helping the Blugolds to a share of the Mississippi Valley Conference title as a First Team All-Conference selection. He shot better than 82% from the free throw line this year, with Aquinas playing into the state tournament.

Max Breitenbach helped Kohler secure a share of the very competitive Big East-South Conference title this season. The Blue Bombers' leading scorer at 17.7 points per game, he eclipsed the 1000-point mark for his career this year. Breitenbach is a well-rounded player, averaging 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals per game as well.

Matthew Buckman is a multi-sport standout who excels on the hardwood. Averaging at least 22 points each of the past three seasons, he finished his career with 2,156 career points for the Blue Jays, who captured the Capitol-South Conference title and went 23-4 overall.

Donovan Cowley continued his improvement over the last couple years, as the junior guard was a unanimous First Team All-Conference pick for Roncalli. He averaged 18.6 points per game this year, shooting 50% on three-pointers.

Eli Lindsay is a three-time First Team All-Conference choice in the SWAL and this year was named the league's Player of the Year. A versatile performer for defending state champion Mineral Point, Lindsey averages 15.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game.

Jaxson Wednhausen of Mineral Point has come up big in the defending champion Pointers' run to another state tournament appearance, including a career-best 42 points in a sectional final win over Marshall. On the season, he's averaging a team-best 18 points per game, twice his output from a year ago.
