Chris Davis, Jr. of Sun Prairie East, Brooks Hinson of Marshfield, Zach Kinziger of De Pere, Xzavion Mitchell of Oshkosh North headlined the 2025 Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Division 1 All-State team as repeat selections, with Mitchell earning All-State accolades for the fourth straight year.

Mitchell is a two-time Player of the Year in the FVA and has helped the Spartans to the Division 1 state tournament this season. The Mr. Basketball finalist and Iowa State recruit averaged 35 points per game and has 2,797 career points heading into the state tournament, placing him third on the all-time list. He was a D2 All-State choice as a freshman and D1 recipient the past three seasons.

Davis, Jr. is one of the most prolific scorers the state has seen, leading Wisconsin in scoring the last two seasons. Transferring from Sun Prairie West to Sun Prairie East for his senior campaign, Davis, Jr. is averaging 35.5 points per game after scoring 40.8 last season. He has 2,662 career points heading into the state tournament, inside the top five all-time.

Kinziger was a key part of some of the state's top teams during his four-year term on the varsity at De Pere, as the Redbirds accumulated a 107-7 record during that time with a 2024 Division 1 state championship. The Wisconsin recruit averaged 24.4 points per game this year, finishing his career with 1,883 points

Yusef Gray missed much of last season with injury but returned with a vengeance as a junior, averaging 23.6 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game, all team highs. The emerging Division 1 college prospect was incredibly consistent, scoring in double figures every game and at least 20 points in all but four games.

Amare Hereford of Beloit Memorial earned First Team All-Conference for a second consecutive season, helping the Purple Knights to a 15-win season. The emerging scholarship junior filled it up to the tune of 26.1 points per game, adding 8 rebounds and 5.2 assists per contest as well.

Brooks Hinson of Marshfield is a two-time Player of the Year in the Wisconsin Valley Conference, returning All-State choice, and a key reason the Tigers have advanced to the state tournament for the first time since 1994. A tremendous all-around player and steadying force for the Tigers, he averaged 17.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game as a senior.

Cooper Jesperson helped Eau Claire Memorial to an outright Big Rivers Conference championship this year, earning Player of the Year accolades in the league. He averaged 18.6 points per game to go with 4.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists per contest for the Old Abes.

Vaughn Karvala of Oregon is one of the fastest rising prospects in the country, garnering offers from Wisconsin, Marquette, and others. The talented 6-7 junior guard scorers it at a 26.5 points per game rate, averaging 9.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists per contest as well.

Drew Murphy of Verona earned First Team All-Conference recognition in the Big Eight Conference each of the past three seasons. As a senior, he averaged 24.6 points per game, bringing his career total to 1,859.

Roman Thompson was the top player on a Kettle Moraine team that went unbeaten until the sectional finals, capturing the Classic Eight title. The league's Offensive Player of the Year, he led the Lasers and the Classic Eight in scoring at 20.7 points per game.

Keegan Van Kauwenberg is a two-time First Team All-Conference choice in the FVA, helping the Ghosts secure an outright league title this season. The senior averaged 24.6 points per game, shooting 52% from the floor, 87% from the free throw line, and 46% from three to go along with 4.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game.

Zavier Zens has taken on a bigger role with the defending Division 2 state champions this year, as Wisconsin Lutheran is back at state in Division 1. The junior standout more than doubled his scoring output to 22.3 points per game this year, adding 6.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists as well for the top-seeded Vikings.
