WBCA announces 2025 Division 5 Girls Basketball All-State Team

The 2025 Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Division 5 Girls Basketball All-State team is highlighted by three-time selection Addison Verhagen of Sheboygan Lutheran.

Verhagen earned First Team All-State recognition as a freshman and junior in Division 4, and adds the honor in D5 as a senior. The four-year varsity standout helped the Crusaders to a 22-6 record and trip to sectionals this year, averaging 20.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 2.9 steals per game.

Hailee Bauer of Lourdes Academy is a repeat First Team All-State selection for the Knights. She averaged 18.6 points per game for the Trailways-East Conference champions, finishing her career with 1,919 points. Bauer added 4.4 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 3.9 steals per game as a senior.

Evan Brooks of Lena is another repeat First Team All-State pick in Division 5, helping the Wildcats secure an outright Marinette & Oconto Conference championship. The 6-1 senior averaged 16.2 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 2.4 steals, and 3.7 blocks per game.

Izabel Durst of Barneveld is also a repeat WBCA All-State choice, capping off a big junior year with a runner-up finish for the Eagles that saw her score 40 points in the state tournament, including a dominating 28 points game in the semi-finals.

Morgan Freeman guided Belmont to an outright Six Rivers-West Conference title this year. The 5-9 senior averaged 16.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.9 steals per game for the Braves.

Reese Grimm of Pittsville averaged 15.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 3.9 steals per game as the Panthers finished 21-6 overall and second in the CWC-South.

Cali Havlovitz of Wild Rose upped her scoring every season during her four-year varsity career, culminating in a 26 point per game average as a senior. Just 5-5, she also averaged 10.4 rebounds to go with 5.3 assists, and 8.8 steals per game for the Wildcats.

Jorja Hofman continued her improvement as a senior, jumping up to 23.2 points and 11.1 rebounds per game as the Oaks finished 19-8. For her career she finished with 1,536 points and 833 rebounds.

Jordyn Jaglinski was the league scorer this season for an Assumption team that won the Marawood-South, captured the Division 5 state title, and finished 29-1 overall. Jaglinski averaged 15.1 points per game for the Royals, connecting on 45.6% of her three-point shots.

Maddy Lange really improved as her career went along, earning All-State honors after a senior season that saw her average 19.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per game for Black Hawk.

Anna Schooley capped off her four-year varsity career with a state championship for Assumption. The 5-11 senior averaged 13.9 points to go with 5.8 rebounds, and 3.4 steals per game for the Royals.

Jaedyn Zdroik of Pacelli is only a sophomore but has already nabbed her second WBCA All-State nod. The 5-10 senior averaged 14.4 points per game this season for the CWC-South champions, adding 9.0 rebounds, 8.1 assists, and 7.3 steals per game.
