WBCA announces 2025 Division 2 Girls Basketball All-State Team

West Salem's Megan Johnson is a three-time All-State selection as part of the 2025 Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Division 2 Girls Basketball All-State team.

Johnson earns First Team All-State in Division 2 for a second consecutive year after garnering First Team laurels in D3 as a sophomore. In her senior campaign, Johnson averaged 19.4 points per game, giving her 1,880 in her career. She also averaged 6.3 rebounds and 4.1 steals per game this year.

Emma Close of Wauwatosa East is one of the state's top shooters, finishing her senior year 58% from the field overall, 76% from the free thrown line, and 46% on three's. The junior averaged 14.7 points per game in helping the Red Raiders to the Division 2 state title.

Rowan Counsell helped Whitefish Bay to a 24-3 record and appearance in sectionals. She averaged 18.1 points per game, including an 85.7% free throw mark. Counsell added 4.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 4.4 steals per game on the year.

Jordan Fenske of Waukesha West earns her second straight All-State nod. The Illinois State recruit averaged 14.6 points per game this year while shooting 88% from the free throw line and 42% from deep. Fenske added 7.1 rebounds per game as well.

Samantha Hafferkamp of Union Grove helped the Broncos to a 25-3 record this year, including a dominating league title in the Southern Lakes. She averaged 17.4 points per game as a senior.

Mikaia Litza stole the show at the state tournament, helping Wauwatosa East to the Division 2 crown. In the title game, she recorded 32 points with nine rebounds and five steals. On the year, the talented junior guard averaged a team-high 17.6 points per game to go with 5.2 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 3.3 steals per game to earn All-State for a second straight year.

Anna Miller helped Edgewood to a D3 state title as a freshman last year and a Division 2 runner-up finish in her sophomore campaign. A First Team All-State selection both seasons with offers from several Division 1 college programs, Miller averaged 16.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game for the Crusaders. 

Leah Nordin of Shawano repeats on the WBCA Division 2 All-State team this year. The junior Wisconsin commit averaged at least 20 points per game for a third consecutive season, upping her average to 24.6 points per game to go with 9.8 rebounds and 3.9 steals per contest.

Kristina Ouimette of Lakeland earns her second straight All-State selection, playing for her mother and former Ms. Basketball winner Melissa Ouimette. One of the state's top scorers, the UW-Green Bay commit averaged 29.5 in her senior year and scored 2,522 points in her career, placing her in the top ten all-time in the state.

Adaline Sheplee helped Rice Lake to the WIAA state tournament for the first time in school history. The talented junior guard averaged 23.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 3.2 steals per game for the Warriors.

Beanie Thompson increased her role for the Edgewood team this year, going from 8.4 points per game as a freshman to 14.4 points per game this year, despite missing some time with injury. She added 6.8 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game for the state runners-up.

Faith Walder helped West De Pere qualify for state for the first time since 1978, also capturing a Bay Conference title. The senior point guard averaged 19.6 points per game this year, contributing 3.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.6 steals per game as well.
