Pewaukee's Amy Terrian has been selected as the state's top senior point guard as part of the WSN Senior Basketball Awards.
Terrian led the Pirates to a Division 1 sectional final, falling to eventual state champion Kimberly, 48-47 in overtime.
The Ms. Basketball award-winner averaged 14.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 3.0 steals per game for coach Jim Reuter and the 25-3 Pirates.
Amy was among the state leaders in three-point shooting, going 81-for-172 (47.1%). She also shot 49.6 from the floor and 88.4 from the charity stripe.
Terrian is on a short list of players named first-team WBCA all-state all four seasons. She was voted Woodland West Player of the Year as a junior and senior, earning first-team honors all four seasons.
She helped lead the Pirates to a 108-10 record with three trips to the WIAA State Tournament, including winning the Division 2 state title as a junior. Amy helped Pewaukee to D2 state runner-up finishes in the first two appearances.
Terrian compiled 1,812 points, 457 rebounds, 463 assists, 285 steals, and 335 three-pointers in her career.
She is committed to Michigan State University.
The finalists for the award were Terrian, JJ Barnes of The Prairie School, Makenzie Luehring of Kettle Moraine Lutheran, Serinity Metcalfe of Shorewood, Haddie Showen of Westfield, and Faith Walder of West De Pere.
