Cochrane-Fountain City senior Cameron Lipinski has been selected as the Box Out Sports Athlete of the Week for the week of March 17-23 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 4,908 total votes this week. Lipinski topped all vote getters with 2,262 votes. Milwaukee academy of Science's Devin Brown finished in second with 912 votes.

Lipinski showed out on the biggest stage in front of a statewide audience. The senior wing scored from everywhere on the court, put down a few crowd pleasing dunks, and buried shots from deep. In the Pirates 66-54 semifinal victory over Turtle Lake, Lipinski had a team high 24 points, while going 8 of 10 from the free throw line. He added 7 rebounds and 5 steals. He then had 17 points on 6 of 11 shooting in the Pirates 60-54 win over Sheboygan Lutheran in the WIAA Division 5 State Championship. Lipinski and co. won the first ever state title in boys basketball for CFC in their program's history.

Lipinski capped off his year by being named to the WBCA Division 5 All-State team.
