Favorite Sport (and why): "I would consider softball to be my favorite sport. I love the intensity of the game, how fast-paced it is, and how one good hit or play could possibly change the whole game."

Best Part of High School Sports (and why): "The best part of my high school career would most definitely be going to the state tournament for basketball in 2024 as a junior. It was an unforgettable season for our first-year co-op. It was also both Monticello and Albany’s communities that made our accomplishment an amazing experience to be a part of. It was the feeling of knowing that everyone was by our team's side and being so supportive as a first-year co-op coming together made winning the Division 5 State Final in overtime a moment that I will cherish forever."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: “Don’t change who you are, and keep being that hero that so many kids look up to” -Coach Bakken

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "My most memorable moment is receiving my 1,000 points during my game at Parkview High School. It is my greatest accomplishment and a
moment that I had been dreaming about since my freshman year during my very first high school practice. I ended my high school basketball career with 1,218 career points."

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "The best part of playing three sports is the love I have for each of them. When I am involved in each of the sports, I throw myself into it 110% with the practices and games. I try really hard to be a good teammate and role model for younger athletes. I love always staying busy and when one sport ends it seems that the following week the next sport’s practices will start. One thing I would wish though is that there was a little more time after each sport to be able to take in the accomplishments and moments because they all go so fast."

Most Difficult Part of Playing Three Sports: I would most definitely say the transition between each sport is the most difficult part of playing three sports because I would need to get back into the groove of the sport that I was moving on to and it was tricky at times at first to put yourself into the new mindset."

Favorite Opponent (and why): "My favorite opponent was when we played against Pec/Argyle during my basketball season because of the crowd that came to watch. We literally experienced essentially four small towns coming together to watch our games when we would play. The gyms were always so packed, and you would get the feeling of when we were at state playing for a title, but realistically, it would be a conference game. When we would play Pec/Argyle, it was always an intense game, and we would come away with things we did great and things that we needed to work on, but it was always fun to play them."

Favorite Professional Team: Milwaukee Bucks

Favorite Professional Athlete: Sabrina Ionescu

Favorite College Team: Tennessee Vols Softball

Cumulative GPA: 3.8

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against (and why): "I would have to say that Molly Olson would be the toughest individual I have competed against. During basketball practice, no one would want to guard Molly because she was small and fast with the ball. When I would try to guard Molly, I felt like she would make me look miserable and like I didn’t know how to dribble the ball because of her fast pace and quick hands, and I appreciate her a lot!"

Most Admired High School Teammate (and why): "My most admired high school teammate would be Ellie Gustafson. During my freshman year of high school, Ellie was extremely welcoming and a great role model to me when I was on the volleyball team and we would dance together before every game. Tragically I ended up going through one of the hardest times of my life and she was always there for me with her kind heart and listening ear and I will never forget that."

College Plans: "I graduate high school in May of 2025 and in the Fall, I plan to attend Madison College. While there, I will be playing Softball for the Lady Wolfpack team and will be studying Digital Marketing."

Activities Outside of Sports: "I show swine (pigs) at the Green County Fair and I work at the New Glarus Nursing Home as an activities assistant. I have also been involved in 4-H for nine years and have been part of Monticello FFA for the last four years and I have completed many community service hours during that time. I have also participated in Spanish Club for all four years and recently returned from Spring Break, where we went to Costa Rica. During that trip, we experienced their school and culture and volunteered to help make a basketball court. I have also participated in the Big Brother/Big Sister program all four years."
