Enke and the Jefferson softball team improved to 5-1 on the year with a 4-1 week on the field. The senior was excellent on both the mound and at the plate. In an 8-0 win over Turner, Enke struck out 10 batters and allowed just four hits in the shutout, adding one hit and four RBIs from the plate. She then took the mound Friday and won 2-1 over Mayville, pitching a complete game and striking out 15 batters, allowing the one run, unearned, on three hits. Throughout the five total games, Enke was 5 for 15 with four RBIs, 3 walks, and a run scored.
Erickson started her senior soccer campaign off on the right track, leading the Rockets to a pair of wins on the pitch. The senior forward first had three goals and an assist in a 5-2 win over Green Bay Preble on Tuesday. The Eastern Illinois recruit followed that up by netting four more goals and assisting on another as Cedar Grove-Belgium beat Grafton 8-0 on Thursday.
Jennings pitched a complete game shutout in the Weston baseball team's opening game of the season. The junior struck out 12 batters in a 2-0 win over De Soto, scattering five hits over seven innings. From the plate, Jennings went two for four with an RBI and a run scored, accounting for both Silver Eagle runs.
Leto and the Muskego girls lacrosse team started the season out 2-0 this past week as the senior midfielder scored at a high rate over the course of the two games. The Warriors knocked off Waukesha 13-4 on Thursday and beat Verona 14-7 on Saturday. In each of those games, Leto netted four goals. Her eight goals are the fourth most in the state through the first week and a half of the 2024-25 season.
Wilkinson found the back of the net early and often in the Hilltopper's three contests this past week, resulting in three wins. Wednesday, the junior midfielder netted four goals in a 19-4 win over Cedarburg. He followed it up with two goals and five assists in a 15-2 win over Catholic Memorial on Saturday. Wilkinson finished his week with five goals and two assists in a 19-3 win over Notre Dame. For the week, Wilkinson finished with 11 goals and 7 assists.
