Pewaukee was a postseason Cinderella as a seven-seed entering the playoffs, knocking off two-seed Whitnall and three-seed Martin Luther before falling to New Berlin Eisenhower in the sectional semi final. This year the Pirates are looking to build off that late season momentum but will have to do it without seven seniors on last year's team. Mya Bloedow 3B is the lone senior this season and is joined by returning players Harper Gould So C, Lilly Levas So P/1B/OF, Sam Brewster Jr P/IF, Estella Levas Jr IF/OF, Taylor Stanek Jr OF. Lilly Levas and Sam Brewster both shared the innings in the circle last season.

Pius XI was a sectional finalist last season, falling to conference rival New Berlin Eisenhower. The Popes graduated three seniors and return most of last year's team that has the potential to make its way to the top half of the conference and be a dark horse come tournament time. Pius XI is coached by Joel Claassen, who has been a staple in Boys and Girls Basketball at Pius XI over the years and has over 400 wins in the Softball program.

New Berlin West has a new head coach this season as Ian Konrath takes over. The Vikings have both pitchers (Gillian Konrath Jr and Morgan Kopischke So) returning from 2024 along with Callie Hren Jr C/IF/OF, Isabella Freiselben Sr 1B/OF, Jenna Anderson Sr P/1B.
