Heller got three wins in the circle for the Hilltoppers and did so in excellent fashion. Monday in an 18-0, four-inning win over Berlin, the junior struck out 11 batters and allowed three hits in her complete game. She also went three of four with two RBIs and runs scored from the plate. In a 20-0 five-inning win over Montello, Heller struck out 11 batters en route to a no-hitter in the circle. On top of that she was two of three from the plate with five runs scored, three RBIs and two walks. Heller capped her week off by striking out 19 batters and allowing two unearned runs in a complete game 10-2 victory over Princeton/Green Lake. She was three of four with two runs scored, a walk, and an RBI from the plate.
Lemanczyk was on fire on the mound as he picked up two wins for the Hornets in dominating fashion. Monday he took the mound against Wild Rose and tossed a no-hitter in the 12-0 win. Over five innings of work, he struck out nine batters, facing one batter over the minimum. He added a hit and two RBIs from the plate. In a 12-2 win over Elcho, the senior went one of one with two walks and a run scored, with three stolen bases. Lemanczyk then took the mound again and pitched a complete game shutout in a 7-0 victory over Almond-Bancroft. He allowed just three hits and six walks while striking out 15 batters over 7 innings of work. Lemanczyk added one of each a hit, walk, run scored, RBI, and stolen base.
Lother helped lead the Kenosha Storm girls lacrosse team to a pair of wins this past week on the field. The Storm knocked off Oak Creek 14-3 on Wednesday as the sophomore midfielder netted four goals and assisted on two others on five shots on goal. She added six ground balls and two forced turnovers. Lother then went on to have eight goals on nine shots on goal in a 21-5 win over the Janesville Phoenix on Thursday, adding three ground balls and one forced turnover.
Shramek was excellent from both the mound and at the plate for Blair-Taylor this past week. In a 9-9 tie, the MATC recruit had two RBIs for the Wildcats. He bookended his week by going three of four from the plate with a run scored in a 3-2 loss to Pepin/Alma. Tuesday, Shramek took the mound and was dominant. In a 10-0 five-inning victory, he struck out 14 batters, walked one, and completed a no-hitter. On top of that, he was two of three from the plate with two runs scored, a walk, an RBI, and a stolen base. It's the first no-hitter for Shramek after he pitched in four last season.
Youngbauer got three wins in the circle this past week for the Winneconne softball team. She started her week off perfectly in a 12-0 victory over Omro. The sophomore pitcher tossed a five-inning perfect game, striking out 13 batters on 62 pitches. She also went two for three from the plate with two runs scored. Youngbauer then pitched two of the three innings in the 16-1 three-inning victory over Berlin. She struck out five batters and allowed one run on two hits, going one for two from the plate herself, tallying an RBI and two runs scored. Youngbauer also got the win in the circle in the 9-6 victory over Seymour where she struck out seven batters through seven innings of work, allowing six runs on seven hits.
