2024 Season Recap

Tigerton (15-9 Overall) took the CWC-North in 2024. Bowler/Gresham (11-8) came in second. Marion (8-13), Northland Lutheran (6-13) and White Lake (0-14) finished it out. White Lake cancelled its season after the conference season began and forfeit victories were awarded to all teams. Postseason wins were hard to come for the CWC-North as no team claimed a playoff victory.

Team Previews

Tigerton will look to repeat as CWC-North champions in 2025. Jenny Korth takes over as the Tigers' head coach after previously coaching at rival Marion for several seasons. Lilly Welch Jr C/3B (19 Hits, 19 Runs Scored, .432 avg,1st Team), Danika Tiller So P (10-8 94 IP 4.91 ERA 120 Strikeouts, 1st Team), Hailey Erdmann So IF (1st Team) Angel Welch Sr P/SS (2nd Team), and Sienna Breaker Sr IF/OF (2nd Team) are some of Tigerton's All-Conference returnees for this year. Korth also mentions they have a hard-working freshman group ready to make an impact this season. With a small conference the race is open for anyone, says Korth.

Notable Losses: McKenzie Hoffman, Maycee Carlson, Jessalyn Zimdars, Elizabeth Stueck.

Northland Lutheran brings back most of its roster having no seniors in 2024. Highlighting the roster are Sarah Gustafson Sr SS, Paige Kunkel So C, Miley Reisch So 1B, Madi Ruether Sr P, and Teagan Kunkel Sr 3B. Three freshman, Rachel Gustafson, Kaydence Marquardt and Addelyn Ineichen, will join them this season.

Marion graduated its lone senior Morgan Schwartz in 2024. The Mustangs have a new head coach in Tim Mehlberg this season and return a full roster. All-Conference returnees include Heidi Krueger Jr P/1B and Davina Crum So SS/C.

Bowler/Gresham graduated numerous All-Conference selections in 2024, including conference Player of the Year Emma May. Ava Paiser Sr and Autumn Thiex Sr are the two lone All-Conference returnees this season.
