Whitnall is the team to beat in the Woodland-East this season. “We return a loaded roster with a lot of dedicated players," says third year Head Coach Mike Gappa. "Our only notable loss is infielder Anaka Gappa, a three-time All-Conference selection now playing at MATC. We will have strong pitching and hitting but will need to work on the outfield.” Sarah Bystra - Sr P/IF - (2x Conference Player of The Year - Signed w/ Bryant & Stratton, 12-4 92 IP 2.36 ERA ), will look to lead things in the circle and Merces Mullen Jr 2B/C (38 Hits, 38 Runs Scored, .500 avg) will look to be the offensive spark. The Falcons have mostly Division 1 schools on their non-conference schedule this season including Kenosha Bradford, Oak Creek, Taft (IL), and Menomonee Falls and hopes to challenge New Berlin Eisenhower for the teams' first trip to the State Tournament since 2018.

Brown Deer/Shorewood/University School will have a young team with 10 freshman on varsity and some key roles to fill, says Head Coach Chris Miller. “We have multiple pitchers and catchers to work with and young talent. I believe we can surprise a few teams this year and do well outside of the conference,” says Miller.
