2024 Season Recap

New Holstein (18-10 overall) and Valders (15-8) shared the EWC title a season ago. Chilton (11-11), Two Rivers (9-13), Brillion (11-12), Kiel (13-10), and Roncalli (3-17) followed. Sheboygan Falls did not field a varsity program in 2024. New Holstein advanced the furthest in the postseason falling to eventual state qualifier Mishicot in the sectional semifinal.

Team Previews

Brillion returns its entire roster for 2025 as they had no seniors in 2024 and will look to make a big jump in the standings this season. Chris Gade enters his 18th season as the Lions Head Coach and mentioned that they have a solid defense and the EWC will be very competitive this season. Amaya Brooks Jr SS/P (1st team all conference) and Jana O'Connell Sr SS (2nd Team all conference) are the teams top returnees.

Newcomers: Jocelyn Tamm Fr P

Other Returnees: Cora Tamm Jr, Ella Kuchenbecker Sr, Grace Krueger Jr, Claire Schuh Sr, Isabel Degner Sr, Kenadie Ott Sr, Malia Pipenberg Jr, Emma Schuh So, Carter Miller Jr, Kara Hendrich Jr, Avah Moehr Sr.

Valders returns conference player of the year Megan Hochkammer Jr P along with other All-Conference selections Makayla Dallas Sr C, Madison Bergel Jr OF, Arianna Hernandez Sr OF, and Anna Olson Jr OF. The Vikings are paired with many of its conference foes for the postseason play.

Newcomers: Brooke Fischer Fr, Kyra Kocian Fr, Adalyn Massart Fr, Chloe Ansorge Fr.

Chilton brings back most of its roster from 2025 that will make them a contender in the EWC this season led by Maddie Tasch Sr C, Gwendolyn Sell Sr IF, Sophia Pingel Sr OF, Elaina Bates JR OF, Maddie Mueller Sr OF and Alayna Glidden Jr IF who all took home All Conference honors in 2024

Two Rivers had no seniors on its 2024 team, which will put them in a good spot to be in the upper half of the EWC this season. The Purple Raiders notable returnees are Anna Klein Jr P, Kiana Luebke Sr C, Mykinze Welnetz Sr IF, and Reagan Statler So P/UT as they were all-conference selections a year ago. Two Rivers is in a highly competitive Division 2 half sectional with Seymour, Winneconne, Luxemburg-Casco, and Denmark.

New Holstein graduated a strong and large class in 2024. The Huskies will look to its younger core this season with only one senior. Makayla Meyer Jr P/IF and Jenna Horn So C are the lone all conference returnees. Kourtney Karls Jr OF and Emma Manderscheid Jr OF/IF are the other lone returnees this season. Newcomers Reese Kraus So and Makya Pendleton So are players to look to make an impact this season.

Notable losses: Natalie Ziebell, Haylie Kohlman, Jacey Sesing, Autumn Born, Alyssa Schneider, Carlie Thome.

Kiel will be in a rebuilding year after the graduation of five starters at many key positions. The Raiders do return both starting pitchers (Elizabeth Neils Sr 10-8,107 ⅓ IP 2.02 ERA and Aubrianne Freund Sr 3-2 34 ⅓ IP 2.85 ERA). Elizabeth Neils also looks to be the leader at the plate this season after having 22 Hits, 15 RBI, and batting .328 a season ago. Fourth year Head Coach Jenny Neils says she expects the EWC race to be tight this year with tons of talent up and down the conference and all games to be competitive.

Roncalli returns all-conference selection Megan Lamers So C. The Jets have eight underclassmen and five upperclassmen on its roster this season.

Sheboygan Falls/Kohler is in its first season as a co-op program after not fielding a varsity team in 2025. Since the last varsity season the Falcons have a new head coach with Sam Bailey being in charge.
