Ahlberg whirled the second perfect game of the year in Wisconsin last week as he helped the Northwood/Solon Springs baseball team to a pair of wins. Tuesday he took the mound against Birchwood/Winter and was locked in. The junior pitcher struck out 17 of the 21 batters he faced as he pitched a perfect game, 7-0 victory. From the plate he added a hit, a walk, a hit by pitch, five stolen bases, and three runs scored. In a 7-6 win over Prairie Farm, he added a walk, a stolen base and a run scored for the co-op.
Darr scored at a high rate on the lacrosse field this past week, helping the Wildcats to two wins and a 5-0 start to the season. University School got an 18-7 win over the Whitefish Bay co-op as Darr netted eight goals and assisted on another. The senior midfielder then netted a hat trick in the Wildcat's 13-7 win over Arrowhead. In the five games this year, Darr has 26 goals and 5 assists.
Mancl dominated on the mound, getting two wins from the bump and helping the Cardinals improve to 11-0 on the year. The senior pitcher began the week with a complete game no-hitter in a 3-1 win over Poynette. She struck out 17 batters and allowed one unearned run over seven innings of work. She then took the mound in a 2-1 win over Mosinee on Friday, going the distance and striking out seven batters while allowing one run on five hits. Over the four games, Mancl also accumulated three hits, and an RBI.
Osborn found the back of the net at a high rate as she led the River Valley girls soccer team to a trio of wins this past week. First in an 8-0 win over Lakeside Lutheran, the senior netted four goals and assisted on another. She then had two goals in a 4-1 win over Hustisford/Dodgeland. Osborn finished her week but accounting for all four goals in the Blackhawk's 4-3 conference win over Prairie du Chien. She netted a hat trick and assisted on a fourth goal.
Westfahl continued his torrid scoring streak on the lacrosse field last week in two Chargers' wins. The senior midfielder netted four goals and assisted on another as Hamilton knocked off the Brookfield co-op 16-2 on Wednesday. Westfahl followed that up with three goals and three assists in a 9-8 win over Thursday. For the season, Westfahl has 14 goals and 7 assists in just four games played.
