Muskego (22-2 Overall) placed first in the Classic 8, followed by Arrowhead (18-8) in second. Oconomowoc (13-11), Kettle Moraine (15-10), Waukesha North (12-16), Waukesha West (14-12), Mukwonago (9-14), Waukesha South (9-17), and Catholic Memorial (0-19) placed out the Classic 8. Muskego and Arrowhead both advanced to the Sectional Finals falling to eventual state champion Kenosha Bradford and Hamilton, respectively.

Team Previews

Muskego returns the bulk of its roster from a year ago that will once again look to take first in the Classic 8 and go on a deep playoff run. The Warriors are led by Samantha Brunner So IF (2024 1st team all conference OF, 1st team all district, HM all state), Kyleigh Sadler So P/OF (2024 1st team all conference Pitcher, 1st team all district, HM all state), Cece Carpio Sr IF (2024 1st team all conference IF, 1st team all district), Grace Swiezynski Jr P/UT (2024 1st team all conference Utility, 1st team all district), Cora Jahimiak Jr P/ IF (2024 2nd team all conference), Ella Gibson Sr 1B (2024 2nd team all conference, team captain), Ava Guminey Jr UT (2024 HM all conference), Reese Heinrich Jr OF (2024 HM all conference). The Warriors will have some stiff non-conference action with Sun Prairie East, Oak Creek, Westosha Central, and Watertown and host two triangulars with Kenosha Tremper and Beaver Dam and another with Hamilton and Union Grove, and travel to Franklin with Oregon.

Notable Losses: Autumn Sadler C (3 year all conference, 2 year all district, 2024 2nd team all state)

Arrowhead graduated the star power of conference player of the year Jaclyn Showalter (39 Hits 20 Home Runs 49 RBI 23 walks .500 avg) last season. The Warhawks do return all-conference picks Sammie Radish Sr P (7-4 86 ⅓ IP 2.43 ERA) and Jacquelyn Cox Sr OF (45 Hits 17 RBI 15 Stolen bases .474 avg). Ava Nowak Sr 3B/SS and Rachel Radish Sr 1B/OF were named honorable mention last season. Other returnees of note are Ashley Gilroy Sr C, Chloe Topp Sr 2B, and Olivia Orzechowski Sr OF.

Oconomowoc enters the 2025 season with 10 returning players from 2024. “We felt like we had a really good season last year and now with all of the experience that is returning, it could be a special year if we stay focused, relaxed and play within ourselves," say co-head coaches Scott Sabel and Chloe Auxier, who enter their second season for the Raccoons. "Our defense, pitching and TEAM-first culture were our strengths last year and we look to get to that same level that we were able to get to last year." Ailey Bolson Sr, P/2B, Macy Brazelton, Sr 3B (1st Team All-Conference and 1st Team All District playing at Tiffin University in Ohio next year), MiKaela Burow, Sr 1B (Honorable Mention All-Conference), Carli Moldenhauer Sr CF (2nd Team All-Conference and Honorable Mention All District playing at Ripon College next year), Jordan Winkelman, Sr C/OF (Honorable Mention All-Conference playing at North Dakota State College of Science next year), Gracie Bolskar, Jr, C/SS, Laci Griswold, Jr, OF, Kamryn Stoltz Jr, 2B/3B (2nd Team All-Conference), Kelsey Yambor, Jr P/1B (2nd Team All-Conference) and Molly Sheahan, So OF are the returning players this year. “The upcoming season is shaping up to be a lot of fun and we hope to make a lot of memories,” says Auxier and Sabel.

Newcomers: Hayley Beckman Sr SS/OF/C (playing at MATC next year). Kayla Glidewell Jr P/SS, Finnley Bolson, Fr SS/OF

Waukesha West will look to its junior class, most who have started on varsity since they were Freshman to lead the way this season. Fourth year Head Coach Josh Kraner believes the team can contend in the top half of the Classic 8, however to start the season the Wolverines will be without Payton Hisel Jr C (2X All Conference Selection) while she recovers from an injury sustained during the basketball teams' Sectional Final run. Paige Kahle Jr SS (2 time all conference honorable mention), Amelia Carlson So 3B (all conference Outfield), Lauren Walters Jr P/DP (2 time honorable mention all conference), and Kaiya Kraner Jr 2B (honorable mention all conference, Edgewood College Commit) highlight the Wolverines roster this season.

Notable Losses: Peyton Arendt

Newcomers: Belle Sykes Fr UT, Allie Marks Fr OF

Kettle Moraine has a number of returning players in 2025 but also lost some names from last season. The Lasers bring back Casey Navarro Sr C (34 Hits 22 RBI .453 avg), Alesandra Hernandez Jr IF/OF, Reagan Ostrum Sr OF, and Katie Brisk Sr SS/P all took home all conference honors last season. Other returnees include Briella Hack So P/2B, Jamie Gorski Jr, and Sarah Marcheske Sr OF.

Notable Losses: Naomi Sander Sr (Not Playing) Grace Doome, Alyssa Dinnauer.

Mukwonago has three all-conference players returning for this season in Jordan Chatham So, Kalina Krowski Sr, and Brianna Borkowski Sr. The Indians also have a new head coach this season with Courtney Ermisch taking over the program. Ameilia Motl Sr, Kaitlyn Lamp Jr, and Camryn Blei Jr are also returning. Paeton DeGroot Fr is also one to watch as a newcomer for Mukwonago.

Waukesha North graduated some all-conference selections in 2024 and have a few back this season in Taylor Metzger Sr, Margreta Lucey Sr and Summer Meler Jr. The Northstars also have a new Head Coach with former New Berlin West standout Cheyenne Sowinski taking over this offseason. Waukesha North will be competing in the Classic 8 for its final season before moving to the Woodland Conference in 2026.

Waukesha South does return three all-conference selections from 2024. Deanna Sanchez Jr P, Alyson Staley Jr and Addisyn Kaiser Sr. Like Waukesha North, the Blackshirts are in their last season in the Classic 8 before they move to the Woodland Conference next season.

Catholic Memorial has all-conference returnee Addison Kelenic So back this season. The Crusaders have a relatively young roster going into the 2025 season.
