2024 Season Recap
Coleman (21-5 overall) captured the Marinette & Oconto crown in 2024, Crivitz (18-6) took second. Niagara (9-7), Wausaukee (4-10), Gillett/Suring (6-13), and Lena/St.Thomas Aquinas (4-16) finished things out. Coleman would advance the farthest, reaching the WIAA State Tournament for the first time in school history, falling in the semifinals to eventual champion Fall Creek.

Team Previews
Coleman brings back nearly its entire team from last season but will have one of its biggest losses in conference co-player of the year Courtney DenRuyter to graduation. All-conference returnees for the Cougars are Annabelle Markewicz Sr OF and Alyssa Kurth Jr SS. Madelyn Straub Sr C and Macy Nowak Jr 3B are also returning players from last season.
Crivitz will look to challenge Coleman for the M&O top spot once again. The Wolverines will have to do so without Taryn Tracy Jr C (co-onference player of the year) this season as she recovers from ACL surgery. Isabelle Danielczak Sr P, Izabella Weloski So IF, Hattie Frievalt Jr IF, and Kirsten Pusick Jr OF all took home all-conference honors a season ago.
Niagara graduated two starting outfielders and its catcher from last season and have back several key positions including Elesia Sweig Jr P, Bristol Sanicki So 1B, Rachel Walker Sr 2B, Mallory Sanicki Sr OF, and Alivia Kleikamp Jr 3B. Second year head coach Joe Champeau mentioned that teamwork and accountability are strengths for the Badgers this season.
Notable Losses: Emma Brasure, Aiva Champeau, Emma Broullire.
Wausaukee brings back its starting pitcher and all-conference pick Keaghan Strumbis Jr along with Lydia Schaal Sr OF. The Rangers will look to several newcomers this season as well.
Gillett/Suring returns one all-conference selection in Emma Kristof Sr. The Hornets other notable returnee is Cilena Guns Sr.
Lena/St.Thomas Aquinas does return a couple of all-conference selections in Adrena Rabas So P/OF, Hannah Thomson Sr 3B and Peyton Dorow Sr P/IF. Dorow pitched most of the innings in 2024, and Rabas and Dorow had good offensive showings for the Wildcats that will look to carry over into 2025.
