Racine Park sophomore Mayah Skenandore has been selected as the Box Out Sports Athlete of the Week for the week of April 28 - May 4 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 3,036 total votes this week. Skenandore topped all vote getters with 930 votes. Cambridge's Kian Bystol-Flores finished in second with 761 votes.

Skenandore has been one of the top scorers in girls soccer in the state this season and continued that trend last week in two Panther's victories. The sophomore forward ended her week by assisting on a goal in Park's 3-0 win over Burlington on Thursday. Earlier in the week however, Skenandore was incredible in a 6-1 win over Oak Creek. She netted five goals and assisted on another, accounting for all six Park scores in the Southeast Conference victory.
