A bevy of conference track meets were held last week, as the cream is rising to the top late in the track and field season, with regional and sectional meets set for this week.

Below are the additions to the top overall performances list from the past week.

BOYS ADDITIONS

Waukesha West's Cole Zielinski pushed his lead in the long jump by a nose, getting out to 24'1.75" at the Classic 8 Meet last Tuesday.

At the FRCC Conference Meet held at Green Bay Preble on Thursday, Cartier Andrew of De Pere soared to a new state best in the triple jump with a mark of 47'8.5".

GIRLS ADDITIONS

Surprisingly, there were no new state bests set last week on the girls side, though plenty of outstanding performances.

In the 100-meter dash, Kenosha Indian Trail senior Gianni Harris ran 11.89, which is just .01 off the state's fastest time and tied for second this year.

At the Classic Eight meet, Catholic Memorial's Analena Peterson ran 24.27 in the 200-meter dash, which is second this year.

Cadott's Iszy Sonnentag covered the 400-meters in 56.09 seconds at the Cloverbelt Conference Championships, second-fastest so far this season.

The Middle Border Conference meet was held at Saint Croix Central High School last Thursday, and Osceola junior Elletta Uddin ran 14.32 in the 100-meter hurdles, which is second this year.

Onalaska's Makena McGarry soared 19'3" in the long jump at the Mississippi Valley Conference meet last week, good for second.
