Box Out Sports Athlete of the Week: Brody Feldmann, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah senior Brody Feldmann has been selected as the Box Out Sports Athlete of the Week for the week of June 2-8 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 3,000 total votes this week. Feldmann topped all vote getters with 1,150 votes. Osceola's Elletta Uddin finished in second with 1,015 votes.

Feldmann had a weekend to remember competing at the WIAA Track and Field State Championships in La Crosse. The senior standout three-sport athlete competed in three events, won all three, and set the state record for all three in Division 3. Feldmann took home a first place finish in the 200 meter dash, winning the race in 21.69 seconds, breaking the eight-year old previous record by .04 seconds. He then took home gold in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.82 seconds, breaking a two-year old record by .44 seconds. Feldmann finished his week winning the 300-meter hurdles in another record time of 37.83, breaking the 25-year old record by .27 seconds. Feldmann's 30 points alone got Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah a fourth place finish as a team in Division 4.
