Meredith capped her prep softball playing time by helping the Galloping Ghosts to a third state championship in her four years. The Virginia recruit took to the circle in all three games in Madison and allowed just one run (unearned) over 21 innings of work. In the 9-1, Division 1, quarterfinal victory over Sun Prairie East, Meredith struck out nine and gave up one run (unearned) on hit, over seen innings. She was equally dominant at the plate where she went two for four with a home run, five RBIs and two runs scored. Meredith then tossed seven innings of scoreless ball in the 2-0 victory over Sussex Hamilton in the Division 1 semifinals. She struck out 11, walked one, and allowed three hits, while going one of two from the plate with a run scored. The Ghosts then downed Kenosha Bradford 1-0 in the WIAA Division 1 State Championship behind a third straight win for Meredith. She struck out four batters and allowed five hits while scoring the lone run for the Kaukauna offense.
Ramaker was productive both at the plate and in the circle as she helped Belmont capture gold at the WIAA Softball State Tournament. Belmont first knocked off Ithaca 11-0 in a five-inning, Division 5 semifinal. Ramaker pitched the final frame of the game, striking out three of the four batters she faced. From the plate she went one of two, with two runs scored and was hit by a pitch. Ramaker then got the start in the Division 5 title game against Almond-Bancroft and pitched six and a third innings to get the win. She struck out six batters and allowed one run on two hits. Ramaker added two hits, three runs scored, and a walk from the plate; stealing a base as well.
Sanford dominated in the circle as she capped off an incredible prep career with the Mishicot softball team. The UW-Oshkosh recruit took to circle in the Division 4 state semifinal matchup with Mineral Point. Sanford proceeded to pitch a complete game shutout in the 5-0 victory, striking out 11 batters and allowing 7 hits in her first of two wins in Madison. She then went the distance in the Division 4 state championship game with Pacelli, a game that went nine innings for Mishicot to win 1-0. In her second shutout in three days, Sanford allowed just one hit. She also set a new state record in Division 4, striking out 20 batters in the victory, the second highest total regardless of division in state tournament history.
Sawicki found the back of the net more than anyone else and led the Waunakee boys lacrosse team to a WIAA State Championship in the second year of lacrosse being a sanctioned WIAA sport in the state. The junior attacker accounted for six of the nine goals in the Warriors' 9-8 victory over Kettle Moraine in the state title match. Sawicki scored fie goals himself and assisted on another, scoring or assisting on three of the final four goals for Waunakee in the fourth quarter.
Whitten netted a hat trick and scored the final goal as the Hudson girls' lacrosse team won the WIAA State Championship with a 10-9 victory over reigning champion Kettle Moraine. The sophomore attacker scored three unassisted goals for the Raider, one each in the first, second, and fourth quarters. Kettle Moraine tied the score at nine with 7:07 left in the game. Four minutes later, Whitten netted the go-ahead and eventual game-winning goal at the 3:05 mark, giving Hudson the gold ball.
