The annual Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Girls' All-Star Games were held on Wednesday, July 25, at JustAgame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells.
The South All-Stars won three of the five games.
The North WBCA All-Stars defeated the South squad 72-59 in the day's final game. Eau Claire Memorial's Rayna Welsch and Kimberly's Reagan Krueger led the way for the North, tallying 11 and 10 points, respectively. For the South, Waunakee's Ellen Dotzler scored a game-best 15 points, and Muskego's Rachel Agg also reached double figures, netting 10 points.
The Division 2 WBCA All-Star Game was won by the North, 72-59. West De Pere's Madisyn Berggren led the North with 16 points. Two others reached double figures, Ashwaubenon's Addy Phipps and West De Pere's Faith Walder, who contributed 14 and 11 points, respectively. Leading the way for the South squad was Union Grove's Samantha Hafferkamp, who tied for the game-high with 16 points.
The South WBCA All-Stars led 44-16 at the break and cruised to a 79-51 victory against the North All-Stars. Three players reached double figures for the South, led by Kettle Moraine Lutheran's Madeline Leffel and Catholic Memorial's Hallie Koltz, who finished with 16 and 14 points, respectively. Watertown Luther Prep's Elenor Wendorff chipped in 10 points. For the North squad, Chilton's Adahlyn Hoerl netted a game-best 21 points, and Elk Mound's Ellie Schiszik added 10 points.
The South WBCA All-Stars jumped out to a 41-24 halftime lead and went on to a 77-51 win over the North All-Stars. Bangor's Anna Fronk scored a game-high 14 points to lead the South. Also reaching double figures were Cuba City's Dea Crist and Neillsville's Sydney Subke, who tallied 12 and 10 points, respectively. The North All-Stars were led by Olivia Witkowski, who finished with 12 points.
In the first game of the day, the South WBCA All-Stars outscored the North 30-12 in the final quarter and posted a 79-68 victory. Wild Rose's Cali Havlovitz scored a team-best 17 points for the South squad, and Albany/Monticello's Dalana Trumpy added 10 points. For the North WBCA All-Stars, Lena's Eva Brooks netted a game-high 19 points, and Owen-Withee's Kendall Weiler contributed 14 points.
