Recap of the 2025 Boys' WBCA All-Star Games

The annual Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Boys' All-Star Games were held on Thursday, July 26 at JustAgame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells. 

The results with box scores are below:


Division 1: White 96, Black 93

The Division 1 White team rallied from a 52-43 halftime deficit behind a huge fourth quarter to take down the D1 Black team 96-93 at the 2025 WBCA Boys Basketball All-Star Games.

Sussex Hamilton's Asher Haas scored nine of his game-high 20 points in the final period, while Marshfield's Brooks Hinson added eight in the fourth quarter, finishing with 11 overall. Roman Thompson of Kettle Moraine added 15 points, including making all eight of his free throw attempts. Appleton East's Cade Prestigiacomo chipped in with 11.

The Black team was led by 17 points from Waunakee's Kaden MacKenzie, while Eau Claire Memorial's Wesley Mboga added 16. Three other players finished in double figures for the Black squad: Steven's Point's Jayden Awe with 12 and ten apiece for Waunakee's Jack Ellickson and Eli Selk.


Division 2: Black 109, White 90

A huge second half allowed the Division 2 Black team to rally from a seven-point halftime deficit to score a 109-90 victory over the D2 White team at the WBCA Boys Basketball All-Star Games.

The White team led 27-24 after the first quarter and 57-50 at halftime, but the second half belonged to the Black team. Greenfield's Mason Stieber-Pinter erupted for 20 points in the second half, finishing with a team-high 24. His high school teammate at Greenfield, Dahir Abdullahi added ten second-half points, finishing with 13. There were four other players in double figures for the Black: West Bend West's Carson Bauer with 12 and 11 apiece from Martin Luther's Jose Gonzales, Stoughton's Carter Sullivan, and McFarland's Ben Forbes.

The D2 White team was led by 25 points from Shawano's Logan Sipple. They also got big scoring performances from Waterford's Jamison Beasely (22 points) and Elkhorn's Isaiah Lomax (18 points).


Division 3: Black 119, White 82

The Division 3 Black team ran away from the White team from the beginning at the 2025 WBCA Boys Basketball All-Star Games, leading 34-8 after the first quarter en route to a dominating 119-82 win.

It was excellent balance from the Black team, who got eight of its ten players into double figures. Leading the way was Edgerton's Bryce Appel with 18 points. Kettle Moraine Lutheran's Jordan Wagner had 17 points while Catholic Memorial's Jake Berkholtz added 16 points. Milwaukee School of Languages' Manning Shareef had 13 points while the Black got 11 apiece from Fredom's Drew Kortz, School of Languages' Amaris Hunt, and Amery's Carter Wollan.

Adams-Friendship's SaVont Johnson scored a team-high 17 points for the D3 White squad. Only one other player reached double figures: Wittenberg-Birnamwood's Jett Rogowski with 11 points.


Division 4: White 106, Black 86

A big second quarter helped propel the Division 4 White team to a 106-86 victory over the Black team at the 2025 WBCA Boys Basketball All-Star Games.

The White team out-scored the Black squad 29-17 in the second period to lead 51-31 at halftime, then built on that advantage in the third quarter before cruising home for the win.

Oconto's Carter Koch had a nice game with 15 points, while Bonduel's Race Anvelink added 12, Lomira's Jackson Goebel had 11, and Howards Grove's Trent Grunewald had 10. Clinton's Reagan Flickinger had 17 points for the White squad.

It was very balanced scoring for the Black group, with Pardeeville's Caleb Gard and Cambridge's Matthew Buckman sharing team-high honors at 13 points apiece. Pardeeville's Brenden Krueger added 12 points.


Division 5: White 105, Black 95

A 38-point outburst in the fourth quarter propelled the Division 5 White team to a 105-95 victory over the Black team at the 2025 WBCA Boys Basketball All-Star Games.

While the White squad led 50-44 at halftime, the Black team put together a nice second quarter to lead 69-67 before the White went on a big run in the final period.

Almond-Bancroft's Ayden Phillips had nine points in the fourth for the White team, finishing with a team-high 20 points in the game. Potosi's Aidan Uppena had 14 points, while Highland's Wes Kraisinger, Plum City/Elmwood's Lucas Glaus, and Abundant Life's Jonah Koon had 10 points.

Cameron Lipinski of Cochrane-Fountain City had a game-high 25 points for the Black team. Randolph's Nick Medema added 16 points, Highland's Michael Esser finished with 11, and Cochrane-Fountain City's Porter Ehrat chipped in with ten points.
