In a follow-up to a story we discussed last week, the Superior Telegram has Part II of their three-part story on former Superior High School baseball player Adam Bozinski's battle to get back on the baseball field following a cancer diagnosis and subsequent amputation of his left foot.



Former Racine Case standout Jason Jaramillo returned home this week as his Pittsburgh Pirates took on the Brewers at Miller Park. It's been a long journey for the state's top-ranked prospect from the Class of 2001. 



Madison Memorial coach Dave Thomas is keeping a weekly blog on the happenings with his team. Another coach, Altoona's Jay Johnson, may not have been able to keep his blog post (if he had one) PG after his team's recent 10-0 victory. That's right, it was a victory, but that didn't mean he was happy with the way his squad played. 



The Westby Norsemen like the improvement they've seen both offensively and defensively. A number of Central Wisconsin Conference-10 teams are off to solid starts. La Crosse Central's Cody Pfennig gives young kids a good lesson that it doesn't matter where you hit in the order, it's what you do when your turn comes up.

In one of the more improbable comebacks this season, the Eau Claire Regis team rallied from an 8-0 deficit in the seventh inning to score 9 runs and claim a 9-8 victory over Cadott. The Ramblers only had four hits in that seventh inning, but were helped by four walks and several defensive misplays from Cadott.
