The class of 2009 now has it's sixth known verbal commitment thanks to Kimberly linebacker A.J. Klein (6-1, 210). 
"I have just verbally committed to Iowa State on Friday afternoon,"Klein told WisFootball.net. "I called coach Wayne Bolt and told him Iwas ready to commit. They were very excited to hear I wanted to committo them and they are looking forward for me to come and visit again inthe fall."
The state's only known player with a scholarship offer from theCyclones, Klein chose Iowa State over scholarship offers from WesternMichigan, Northern Illinois and Wyoming as well as serious interestfrom Wisconsin and Michigan State.
"I love the coaches, they are honest and they are really down to earth.I love the plans for the renovations to the stadium and the newapparel, the campus is beautiful, and they have everything I want foracademics," Klein said of his college choice.
Ranked the No. 7 overall prospect and No. 2 linebacker in the class of2009 by WisFootball.net, Klein was an Associated Presshonorable-mention all-state, Appleton Post Crescentfirst-team all-area and first-team all-conference selection as ajunior. He was also named the Fox Valley Association Linebacker of theYear and the Fox Valley Association Defensive Player of the Year. Heled the Papermakers in tackles with 166 and sacks with 11 last season.
