-Ranked as the No. 10 quarterback in the class of 2009 by WisFootball.net, Catholic Memorial's Jack Fleming (5-11, 185) is the type of quarterback who can beat you with his arm as well as with his legs.

A second-team all-conference selection as a junior, Fleming completed67 of 138 passing attempts for 1,049 yards and 11 touchdowns and rushed123 times for 408 yards and 12 touchdowns last season.

Fleming recently took his skills on the road to showcase his talents atseveral college camps where he also tried out a new position.

"I was just out East and went to one-day camps at Columbia, Harvard andPenn. I was actually playing a lot of corner back at Penn and thed-backs coach, who is also my recruiting coordinator, really liked howI performed," Fleming said.

While Columbia, Harvard and Penn all received camp stops, they weren't the only schools Fleming hit up while on the East coast.

"I also visited Holy Cross, Brown, Princeton and Yale," Fleming said.

"So far Penn, Princeton and Northwestern are my favorite schools."

"I don't have any offers because I have to wait until after I apply tothose schools and get accepted before they can offer me anything,"Fleming explained.

-Updating a story from July 23 in which WisFootball.net reported Chippewa Falls defensive back Mitch Olson(6-1, 203) was planning a trip out to North Dakota in order to attendthe University of North Dakota's Junior Academic Day (July 25) andNorth Dakota State University's Elite Prospect Day (July 26), Olson didmake it out to North Dakota and had excellent reviews for the state aswell as both universities.

"I really enjoyed myself out in North Dakota," Olson said. "I had somereal good conversations with the coaches from both North Dakota andNorth Dakota State. Unfortunately, coach Pat Perles from NDSU wasn't atNDSU's Prospect Day, so I didn't get a chance to talk with him at all."

"What I liked the most about the schools in North Dakota was just allof the people. It's a blue collar, hard-working area where I couldreally see myself," Olson explained.

In addition to the schools in North Dakota, Olson said another school from out West has expressed interest as of late.

"I also got an invite from Wyoming to go to their prospect day, but Idon't think I will be able to attend, just because it's so far away."

Ranked the No. 30 overall prospect and No. 2 defensive back in theclass of 2009 by WisFootball.net, Olson received WFCA honorable-mentionall-state, first-team all-Chippewa County, Eau Claire Leader-Telegram second-team all-area, first-team all-conference and BRCFootball.com first-team all-conference accolades last season.
