I just grew up around basketball and was always shooting in the backyard or dribbling a basketball.”

Best Part of High School Sports: “The fans that come to all the games to support you. We have a small town and the fans really support our teams. That is what I like most about high school sports.”

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “When we beat Glenwood City in football as a senior to go to the state semifinals. That was my most memorable game. We lost one of star running backs in the first quarter to an injury against Glenwood City, but we came back from a deficit and ended up winning by two points.”

Best Advice Received from High School Coach: “All of my coaches have told me that if you put the time and effort into your sport, you will see the results.”

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: “I enjoy playing all three of the sports. I love competing and I just couldn’t imagine not playing any of the sports.”

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: “The time that it takes to compete in three sports. You never get a break. You’re hopping from football to basketball and basketball to baseball. Once baseball is over, you’re back into football after a month or two. There is a lot of wear and tear on your body.”

Favorite Opponent: Crystal Falls/Forest Park, Michigan in football, Washburn in basketball, Bruce in baseball.
