Favorite Sport: “That’s a tough one. I’m leaning toward baseball. Baseball can be intense at times, but it’s also laid back at times. I like that about baseball.”

Best Part of High School Sports: “Playing against a lot of your friends. I am friends with a lot of different kids from our conference rivals, and I like playing against them.”

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “Catching a touchdown pass with just seconds left to beat Aquinas last fall in football. Aquinas scored with a minute left to take the lead and the crowd was going crazy, but we drove down and scored with eight seconds left.”

Best Advice Received from High School Coach: “All three of my coaches have stressed the need to persevere. They talk about life after high school and how tough it can be at times. They have taught me to persevere through the difficult times.”

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: “A lot of my friends play three sports. I really like to play year round and compete with my friends. It’s a lot of fun.”

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: “The toughest part is definitely keeping my grades up. You have to keep school a No. 1 priority, but it can be tough at times. Getting back from an away basketball game on a Tuesday night and then getting home late and doing homework can be a challenge at times.”

Favorite Opponents: La Crosse Logan and La Crosse Aquinas.

Favorite College Team: Iowa Hawkeyes football.

Favorite Professional Teams: Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears.

Cumulative GPA: 2.50.

College Plans: “Right now it is between football and baseball. I like Whitewater for football, Stevens Point for football and baseball, and Winona State for baseball. I’m leaning toward Winona State for baseball, if they were to offer me a scholarship.”

Activities Outside of Sports: Coached Special Olympians in basketball and counseled grade-school students about the importance of staying away from drugs as a member of La Crosse Central’s ‘Champions Program.’
