Cross Country Honors: Four-year varsity participant … Advanced to the WIAA Division 3 State Meet as a junior and senior … Finished 54th as a junior and 51st as a senior … Completed the state course at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids in 17 minutes, 43.1 seconds as a senior … Three-time all-league pick in the Scenic Ridge and Rivers Conference … Finished third in the league meet as a junior and second as a senior.

 

Football Honors: Joined the North Crawford football program for the first time as a senior … Earned second-team all-conference honors as a wide receiver and led the team in receptions.

 

Basketball Honors: A four-year varsity performer for coach Gary Hines … Earned honorable mention all-Ridge and Valley Conference laurels as a sophomore and Player of the Year honors as a junior … Averaged 14.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game as a junior for a North Crawford team that went 20-2 and won the conference championship.

 

Track Honors: Four-year varsity participant … As a sophomore, qualified for the WIAA State Meet in the 3,200-run and 4x800-meter relay … As a junior, qualified for the state meet in La Crosse in the 4x800-meter relay as well as the 1,600 and 3,200 runs … Finished fourth as a junior in the 4x800 relay … Three-time conference champion in the 3,200 as well as a two-time league champ in the 4x800 relay.

 

Favorite Sport: “I’d have to say basketball. I grew up around basketball so that would be my favorite.”

 

Best Part of High School Sports: “The environment and togetherness we share throughout the school day. The competitiveness and getting ready for the games is also enjoyable.”

 

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “Going undefeated in conference play last season in basketball and winning the conference championship.”

 

Best Advice Received from High School Coach: “From my dad, who is my cross country and track coach. Every race is a new race. Forget the past and look into the future. That’s what my dad always told me.”

 

Best Part of Playing Four Sports: “I like being active. I think of it as having a lot of fun with my friends, rather than a lot of work.”

 

Toughest Part of Playing Four Sports: “That would definitely have to be time management. Finding the time to do other things is often difficult.”

 

Favorite Opponent: Seneca.

 

Cumulative GPA: 3.48.

 

College Plans: “I’m looking at attending UW-Stevens Point and studying accounting. I’ve received letters from Stevens Point for both running and basketball, but I haven’t chosen one yet. If I had to choose one, it would probably be basketball.”

 

Activities Outside of Sports: Member of the North Crawford National Honor Society. Also involved with Student Government member and 4H.

 

I Find it Relaxing to: “Go out and enjoy time with my friends at their houses.”

 

Favorite TV show: Psych.

 

Favorite Movie: Hangover.

 

Favorite Radio Station: 93.3 FM (hip hop new music out of La Crosse).
