Favorite Sport: “I don’t really have a favorite. Right now, I’d say basketball. In the fall, I would have said football. Just depends on what season it is.”

Best Part of High School Sports:
“The best part is the camaraderie and the coming together as a team. Once that comes, the conference and state championships come off of that.”

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “One of my most memorable moments would have to be my freshman year and my first game on the varsity basketball team. We played against Dominican and I had to guard Kwamain Mitchell. But winning the state championships in football and baseball had to top it all.”

Best Advice Received from High School Coach: “Coach (Paul) Deacon just helped me grow up fast. Coach (Tom) Aldrich taught me morals and how to be a man. Coach (Eric) Henderson has taught me a lot about how to be a leader and how to be a good role model and keeping a positive attitude all the time.”

Best Part of Playing Four Sports: “I feel blessed to be able to participate in four sports. The opportunity to compete and be in competition against others is awesome.”

Toughest Part of Playing Four Sports: “Time management is difficult and being able to allocate time to everything. I have to make sure my grades are all in proper order. Sometimes, it does wear you down physically and emotionally. That’s why you have to make the most of the free days and re-charge the batteries.”

Favorite Opponent: Shoreland Lutheran.

Cumulative GPA: 3.90.

College Plans: “I would like to compete in a sport at the next level. I am considering Northwestern, Wisconsin, Valaparaiso, Lawrence and some other schools. I’m just trying to see where I can fit in and challenge myself both academically and athletically.”

Activities Outside of Sports: President of Students Against Intolerance, member of National Honor Society, member of Youth Group at Catholic Central, member of Student Council.

I Find it Relaxing to: “Chill out with my buddies and my family.”
