Gabrielle Ortiz of The Prairie School and Taylor Schmidt of Algoma lead the 2013 WBCA Division 4 All-State Team as unanimous selections.

Ortiz is a repeat selection, while Schmidt received All-State honors two years ago.

Algoma junior Kennedy Blahnik missed several games with injury this year, but when healthy made quite an impression. She averaged 10 points and 5 rebounds per game for the Wolves, who will play for a state title.

Allazia Blockton, a sophomore from Dominican, stepped into a larger role this year and excelled in it. She averaged 21.3 points per game to go with 12.2 rebounds per contest.

Colfax junior Mallie Doucette led the Vikings to the Dunn-St. Croix title, with their only loss coming to a large school from Minneapolis. Playing for her father Joe, she averaged a team-best 11.6 points per game as the Vikings advanced to the state title game.

Ellie Harmeyer is a fast-rising sophomore, who led Shoreland Lutheran with 16.6 points and 11.3 rebounds per game.

Oconto junior Laken James is one of the top scorers in the division, averaging 17.2 points per game for the Blue Devils. She also added a team-best 8.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists.

Gabbi Ortiz, a 5-7 junior guard, is a repeat selection on the All-State team. The dynamic playmaker is one of the most exciting players with the ball in her hands we've seen in some time in the state. She averaged 21 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals per game.

Amherst's Jaimee Pitt, the daughter of head coach Jay Pitt, was the CWC-8 Player of the Year after leading the conference in scoring (18.1 ppg) and assists (5.3 apg).

Junior Maddy Reed of Lourdes Academy helped the Knights to the Trailways-North title this year, averaging 16.5 points per game. She shot an impressive 82.6% from the free throw line while adding 9.3 rebounds per contest as well.

Taylor Schmidt of Algoma was a First Team All-State pick as a sophomore, an honorable mention selection as a junior, and First Team again as a senior. The Packerland Player of the Year averaged 12 points and 4 assists per game as the Wolves head to the D4 title game.

Cameron's Chloe Wanink, a sophomore, led the Comets to the Lakeland-Central title this year, averaging 19.4 points per game along the way. The 5-7 guard shot 43.5% from behind the three-point line this year, adding 6.8 rebounds per game as well.
