Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of November 7 through 13. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: November 7-13

Zach Engsberg, Catholic Memorial boys volleyball: Engsberg helped the Crusaders come back from a 2-set deficit to capture the WIAA boys volleyball state title, defeating Marquette (17-25, 21-25, 25-23, 25-23,15-10) on Saturday at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee. Zach finished with a match-high 17 kills while posting a .577 hitting percentage to lead the Crusaders to their third state title and first since 2010. 

Alec Hafferman, Edgar football: Hafferman led the Wildcats to a 29-6 win over Bangor, the defending D7 state champions. Alec finished with 27 carries for 115 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also tallied 14 tackles in the victory. Edgar faces Shullsburg in the D7 state championship game on Thursday. 

Nate Ihlenfeldt, Notre Dame football: Ihlenfedlt finished with 226 yards rushing on 28 carries and scored 3 touchdowns to lead the Tritons back to the Division 3 state championship game, defeating Rice Lake 35-17 in a Level 4 contest. Nate also caught 2 passes for 39 yards in the win. Notre Dame plays Catholic Memorial in the D3 title game on Friday, a rematch of last year's D3 title game. 

Jared Meister, Darlington football: Meister threw the game-winning 15-yard touchdown to Will Schwartz with 12 seconds left to lift the Redbirds to a 24-20 win over St. Mary's Springs, the defending D6 state champion, in rematch of last year's state championship game. Meister went 5-for-8 for 187 yards and 2 touchdowns in the victory. Darlington plays Regis in the D6 state title game on Thursday. 

Josh Weiss, Cedar Grove-Belgium football: Weiss led the Rockets to a 42-35 win over Clinton in a Division 5 Level 4 contest and trip to the state championship game at Camp Randall. Josh went 32-for-51 for 365 and 4 touchdowns while also adding a rushing touchdown in the victory. Cedar Grove-Belgium faces Amherst in the Division 5 state title game on Thursday.
