VIDEO: Lee's three lifts Ripon over defending champs and into Sectional Final
Top-ranked and undefeated Ripon trailed defending Division 3 state champion Waupun much of the second half of Thursday's Sectional Semi-Final contest, but things were tied up at 50 as the Tigers took the ball out of bounds on the sideline with 8 seconds left.
The in-bounds went to point guard Melvin Lee, who dished to teammate Eddie Muench at the top of the key. Muench was covered however, and found Lee open on the wing. Lee let fly and swished through the game-winner at the buzzer as Ripon scored a 53-50 victory to advance to Saturday's Sectional Final.
