FOOTBALL
Offense

Nick Holcomb, Senior (Germantown, Wis.), Wide Receiver of UW-La Crosse
Holcomb caught a career-high 10 passes for a school record 263 yards, while tying a school record with four touchdown catches in UW-La Crosse's 45-14 victory at Ripon College (Wis.) on Sept. 9. He caught three touchdowns in the first half helping lead the Eagles to a 28-14 advantage. The 263 yards ranks fourth in WIAC history, while the four touchdown catches is tied for second. Holcomb has caught at least one touchdown pass in five straight games and six of the last seven dating back to 2016.

Defense
Levi Wolf, Junior (Elmwood, Wis.), Safety of UW-Stout
Wolf recorded two interceptions and pulled in a pass reception on a fake field goal attempt as UW-Stout defeated No. 4-ranked University of St. Thomas (Minn.), 25-22, on Sept. 9. He stepped in front of a St. Thomas pass late in the second quarter and returned it 32 yards to the St. Thomas 3-yard line. Two plays later, UW-Stout tied the game with a 3-yard TD and a two-point conversion at 14-14. Moments later, Wolf captured his second interception of the day as St. Thomas drove deep into UW-Stout territory and Wolf picked off the pass on the Stout 12 to snuff out a 12-play drive. While the play did not turn into points, Wolf caught his first collegiate pass on a fake field goal attempt and ran it 15 yards to the St. Thomas 25. He finished the game with nine tackles, six solo, two interceptions for 32 yards and a pass reception for 15 yards.

Special Teams
Owen Schommer, Junior (Prescott, Wis.), Punter of UW-River Falls
Schommer led the Falcons special teams in their 20-12 victory over Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) on Sept. 9. He punted five times for 205 yards for an average of 41.1 yards. Schommer downed three of his punts inside the 20 and two punts inside the 10. On his final punt of the game late in the fourth quarter, Schommer bombed a 50 yard kick that was downed on the 9 yard line to ice the game.
