Tate Kopulos of Catholic Memorial has been selected as the Week 6 Player of the Week following a statewide vote on WisSports.net. His big day helped the Crusaders defeat Kettle Moraine in a Classic 8 Conference game. He was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 6. A total of 9,495 votes were cast, as Kopulos' 3,702 were enough to edge second place Julius Davis of Menomonee Falls, who tallied 3,696 votes.

The passing game was struggling for Catholic Memorial against Kettle Moraine in a key Classic Eight battle Friday night, but the rushing attack found plenty of success. Held to just 36 passing yards, CMH was able to put up 367 rushing yards, with all but ten of them coming from junior Tate Kopulos. The 5-9, 185 pounder carried the rock 43 times for 357 yards and two touchdowns, with both scores coming in the fourth quarter as the Crusaders rallied for a 17-10 victory.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite player can be named WisSports.net Player of the Week is to vote and share the word. Look for the Week 7 nominees to be posted Monday afternoon.
