Nick Holcomb, Senior (Germantown, Wis.), Wide Receiver of UW-La Crosse
Holcomb caught 11 passes for 253 yards and five touchdowns in UW-La Crosse's 56-7 win at UW-River Falls on Nov. 11. He caught touchdown passes of 75, 19 and eight-yards in the second quarter and from 35 and 24-yards in the fourth quarter. Holcomb's five touchdown catches set a single-game school record and tied the WIAC record set by Jon May of UW-Oshkosh in 1998. Holcomb's 253 yards against UW-River Falls ranks second in single-game school history. He set single-season school records for receptions (80), yards (1,401) and touchdowns (20) in 2017. His 20 touchdown catches also broke the WIAC single-season record of 19 set by UW-Whitewater's Jake Kumerow in 2003. Holcomb's 1,401 yards is second in single-season conference history.

He started with a sack on a fourth-down play that gave UW-Whitewater the ball near midfield near the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, he stopped J.T. DenHartog for a loss of one yard on a running play to help set up a Warhawk interception later on the drive. On a Blugold drive in the fourth quarter, Henschler stopped a running play for no gain and sacked DenHartog on second down later in the drive to force a third-and-long situation.
