Most girls basketball teams in the state have played at least 10 games, which means we've unofficially reached the midpoint of the 2017-18 season. With that in mind, it's time to take a look at some of the statistical leaders in the state heading into the second half.

Shemera Williams is a scoring machine for Milwaukee Academy of Science, and she's got plenty of time remaining. The 5-9 junior was third in the state in scoring as a freshman (26 ppg) and led the way last season (31.6 ppg). She's even more prolific this season, averaging 41.2 points per game with a high of 54. She already has 1,756 points in her career, which places her 50th on the state's all-time list, despite a year-and-a-half left. It's not wonder she holds offers from Wisconsin, Marquette, Penn State, Rutgers, Kansas State, and many others.

Shoreland Lutheran junior Chelby Koker averaged 19 points per game the last two years, and is second in the state this season with 31.1 per contest. Highly-recruited junior McKenna Warnock of Monona Grove was third in the state last year and ranks third so far this season with 28.9 points per game. Bowler senior Reanne Kietlinski was eighth in the state in scoring last year, and sits fourth so far with 28 points per contest. See below for the top 20.

Southwestern sophomore Abby Budden holds a slight lead in the rebounding category midway through the season, averaging 16 rebounds per game. Junior Green Bay recruit Julia Hartwig is second on the list with 15.7 rebounds per game. Saint Francis junior Kiara Redman-Trotter is third with 15 rebounds per contest. Shemera Williams led the state in scoring last year and does again this season, but also led the state in assists last year, just as she does again in 2017-18. The dynamic junior guard averages 9.1 assists per game this year. Milwaukee Washington junior Lai'Janique Perry-Ellis is second with 7.5 assists per game, followed by Oak Creek senior Haley Zylka and her 6.6 assists per contest. See the rest of the top ten below.
