Week 12 WisSports.net Boys Basketball Coaches Poll

Division 1

Oshkosh North remains atop the Division 1 Coaches Poll, setting up a huge showdown Friday night against D2 #1 Kaukauna. The Ghosts handed North their only loss of the season a month ago as Jordan McCabe was electric, scoring 41 points with numerous eye-popping assists in a 94-89 decision. Racine Park and Madison Memorial drop out of the rankings this week, to be replaced by Bay Port and Kimberly.

Division 2

Kaukauna is on top of D2 once again, as the Ghosts face off against Division 1's top-ranked team Oshkosh North on Friday in a rare #1 vs. #1 matchup. Cedarburg was upset by West Bend West last Wednesday, dropping the Bulldogs from third to fifth this week. A loss by Rhinelander caused the Hodags to fall out of the rankings altogether.

Division 3

Xavier's dominating season continues, as the Hawks are one of just three remaining unbeaten teams in the entire state, regardless of division. Bloomer suffered its first loss of the year, falling to seventh, while Valders slipped three spots to ninth. East Troy makes its debut in the rankings at #10.

Division 4

Destiny remains the #1 team in Division 4, with unbeaten New Glarus not far behind. It doesn't happen often, but there were no changes in the Division 4 poll this week, with no ranked teams going down.

Division 5

Bangor remains a unanimous #1 team in the Division 5 rankings, which once again saw quite a shakeup. Five ranked teams lost last week, with Royall (#5), Almond-Bancroft (#6), and Pecatonica (#10) all dropping out of the poll completely. New teams this week are Gresham, Deerfield, and De Soto.
