Ellsworth senior Sam Stuhl has been selected as PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of Week for the week of February 19 through 25 after a vote on WSN. 

There were 5,105 votes this week; Stuhl received 1,896 votes and Jena Forrestal finished second with 1,796 votes. 

Stuhl pinned Traeto Saint of Prairie du Chien late in the third period to capture the Division 2 138-pound championship to become the 16th four-time state champion.

Stuhl, a North Dakota State recruit, ended the year with a 41-1 record; his other state titles came at 120 as a freshman at Prescott, and 126 as a sophomore and 132 as a junior.
