Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of February 26 through March 4. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: February 26-March 4

Cole Danielson, Hudson boys hockey: Danielson recorded a hat trick in the Raiders' 7-1 victory against Eau Claire Memorial in the state championship game on Saturday at Alliant Energy Center in Madison. The title is Hudson's second consecutive state championship. He had an assist in their 4-1 win over Verona in a state semifinal, and netted 2 goals and added an assist in Hudson's state quarterfinal win over St. Mary's Springs co-op, 7-1. 

Tyler Herro, Whitnall boys basketball: Herro netted 34 points and went over 2,000 for his career in Saturday's 64-50 win over New Berlin Eisenhower in a Division 2 regional final. He also added 12 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals in the win. In a 76-52 win over Milwaukee Bay View in a regional semifinal, Herro finished with 45 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals and a block. The 6-foot-5 guard and Kentucky recruit is averaging 33.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 3 steals per game for Whitnall, 20-4 overall, who play Pewaukee in a sectional semifinal on Thursday. 

Isaac Lindsey, Mineral Point boys basketball: Lindsey scored a game-high 26 points in a 75-50 win over Darlington in a Division 4 regional final. In the Pointers' regional semifinal win over Necedah, Lindsey led all scorers with 24 points. The 6-foot-3 sophomore is averaging 18.2 points per game for Mineral Point, 20-4 overall, who play Aquinas in a sectional semifinal on Wednesday. 

Tabitha Renkas, Crandon girls basketball: Renkas scored a team-high 15 points to lead the Cardinals past Marathon, 50-44, in a Division 4 sectional final and earn the school's first-ever trip to the state tournament. She also netted 15 in Crandon's 55-52 win over Shiocton in a sectional semifinal. Renkas, a 5-foot-5 sophomore, is averaging 14.1 points per game for the Cardinals, 22-2 overall, who play Aquinas in a Division 4 state semi-final on Thursday at the Resch Center in Green Bay. 

Haley Zylka, Oak Creek girls basketball: Zylka scored 23 points, including going 12 of 15 from the free throw line in Oak Creek's 66-57 win over Milwaukee King in a Division 1 sectional final on Saturday. In a 60-43 win over West Allis Hale in a sectional semifinal, she finished with 11 points for the Knights. Zylka, a 5-foot-5 McKendree University recruit, is averaging 5.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, 6 assists and 1.8 steals per game for Oak Creek, 24-2 overall, who face Mukwonago in a Division 1 state semifinal on Friday at the Resch Center in Green Bay.
