Marshall is headed for the Division 3 state championship game after defeating Wisconsin Dells, 58-47, at the Resch Center in Green Bay.
The Cardinals ended the first half on a 6-0 run to lead 24-17 at the break. They pushed the lead to 38-27 with 10:31 to play.
Wisconsin Dells go to within five at the 3:32 mark, but Marshall always had an answer and the Chiefs never got any closer than that.
Marshall freshman Anna Lutz scored a team-highs of 17 points and 8 rebounds. Fellow freshman Mia Morel tallied 16 points, 9 assists and 9 steals for the Cardinals.
Another freshman, Laura NIckel netted 10 points and senior Samira Arvin added 10 points in the win.
Wisconsin Dells got a game-high 26 points from junior Katelyn Meister.
Marshall advances to the Division 3 state championship game and will face Amherst on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
The Cardinals have two state titles, they came in back-to-back years in 1976 and 1977.
Amherst jumped out to a 21-5 lead to open the game and held off a second half push to defeat St. Thomas More, 45-32, in a Division 3 state semi-final.
The Falcons led 27-12 at the break and scored the first three points of the second half before St. Thomas More battled back into the game.
The Cavaliers were able to get within eight with 2:12 left, but couldn't get any closer.
Amherst got a big performance from senior Heather Pearson, a UW-Oshkosh recruit, who finished with 17 points and 20 rebounds.
Junior Lindsey Dose added 8 points for the Falcons.
St. Thomas More got a team-high 9 points from freshman Lindsey Kirby.
Amherst won despite finishing with 25 turnovers, including 15 in the second half.
The Falcons move on to play Marshall in the Division 3 state championship game on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
Amherst is looking for its first state title since 2009.
Preliminary attendance for the Division 3 Thursday afternoon session was 3,976.
