The WSN15 series will celebrate the 15th Anniversary of WisSports.net by looking back at the top players, teams, and moments of the past 15 years (2003-2017).

The WSN15 boys' basketball series continues with the Top 15 Teams of the WSN Era.

The unique storyline about Lance Randall leaving his job as an assistant coach at a NCAA Division I school in order to replace his late father, Steve, as head coach at Oshkosh West has been well documented and ranked No. 6 of 15 on the recently released WSN15: Top Moments.

You can find additional details of that story here.

Meanwhile, the players who competed for that incredible Oshkosh West squad in 2005-06 rank as WSN15: Top Team No. 3 thanks to their perfect record (26-0) and convincing 52-40 victory over defending WIAA Division 1 state champion Madison Memorial in the state-title game played at the Kohl Center in Madison.

Senior Andy Polka (6-7) dominated the post and also displayed his stellar passing ability as he finished with 21 points, 12 rebounds and five assists against a Madison Memorial frontline that included Keaton Nankivil (6-9) and Jeronne Maymon (6-6).

Polka was selected by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association as Mr. Basketball in 2006 and went on to enjoy a strong four-year career at NCAA Division I Loyola University in Chicago.

Junior Tim Jarmusz (6-6) contributed 17 points, five rebounds and two assists in the win over Madison Memorial. He scored 13 of his points in the second half when the Wildcats outscored the Spartans 33-23 to pull away from a 19-17 halftime lead.

Jarmusz went on to play four years at the University of Wisconsin and earned 48 starts during his collegiate career. He recently served as an assistant coach at NCAA Division III University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn.

Junior Austin Meier (6-3) contributed eight points, 10 rebounds and three steals along with his stellar man defense.

Meier went on to score more than 1,500 points during a strong four-year career at Division III Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Off the bench, sophomore John Bekoske (6-7) made two foul shots late in the first half that gave Oshkosh West the lead for good. He later played at Loyola University in Chicago.

Senior Kyle Kannenberg (5-10) and junior Brady Borgardt (6-1) joined Polka, Jarmusz and Meier in Randall's starting lineup.
