Shemera Williams of Milwaukee Academy of Science and Lexi Donarski of Aquinas have been selected as unanimous selections on the 2018 WBCA Division 4 All-State Team.
Williams (D5 last season) and Donarski are repeat first-team selections.
Williams led the state in scoring with 39.9 points per game and assists with 7.8 per contest. She also tallied 12.8 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 1.1 blocks per game for coach Giovanni Riley and the Novas who finished the year with a 21-5 record and sectional final appearance. The junior and Division I prospect has offers from teams in the Big Ten, Big East, Big 12 and SEC.
Donarksi helped lead the Blugolds to a perfect season (28-0) and their first-ever WIAA state championship. The sophomores and NCAA Division I Iowa State recruit averaged 15.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 3.1 steals and 1.2 blocks per game for coach and father Dave Donarski.
Emily Annis helped lead Durand (23-2) to a sectional appearance before falling to state runner-up Melrose-Mindoro in a sectional semifinal, 67-58. The junior averaged 15.6 points and 2.9 assists per contest for coach Lionel Jones and the Panthers.
Sara Dax led Kewaunee to a 16-8 record, and earned Packerland Player of the Year. The junior averaged 20.2 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.3 blocks per game for coach Lynn Geier and the Storm.
Brooke Freitag led Osseo-Fairchild to an 18-5 record and was chosen Cloverbelt-West Player of the Year. The senior and UW-Oshkosh recruit averaged 15.3 points per game for coach Hailey Zawacki and the Thunder.
Emily Mueller of St. Mary's Springs averaged 15 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.5 blocks per game for coach Mitch Redig and the Ledgers. The 6-foot-3 Northern Michigan (NCAA D-II) recruit led Springs to a 22-3 record and sectional appearance.
Maddy Otto led Cameron to a 21-5 record and sectional appearance. The senior and St. Kate's (NCAA D-III) recruit averaged 15.6 points, 11.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.8 steals per game for coach and mother Kim Weber.
Katelyn Schmidt helped Marathon to a 23-3 record and a sectional final appearance, falling to state qualifier Crandon. The senior was voted Marawood-South Player of the Year after averaging 15.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game for coach Jeff Schneider and the Red Raiders.
Tina Ubl led Shiocton to a state tournament appearance as a junior and a sectional appearance this season before falling to Crandon. The Clarke University (NAIA D-I) recruit averaged 17.2 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals and a block per game for coach Rob Hendrickson and the Chiefs.
Tahlia Walton led Stanley-Boyd to a 15-9 record. The senior and UW-Milwaukee recruit scored 23 points per game for coach Alison Becker and the Orioles this season. She sat out her junior season after transferring from Eau Claire Memorial.
